Robert Laux Obituary

"Hephzibah, GA - Mr. Robert C. Laux, 77, entered into rest April 29, 2023. Service details are incomplete and will be announced in the coming days Mr. Laux was born December 23, 1945, to the late John Harold Laux and Dorothy Pouch Laux. He was a native of the Tampa, FL area, a former resident of Thomson, GA, having made Hephzibah, GA his home for the past five years. Mr. Laux was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a retired U. S. Army veteran with 20 years of service. He was a true patriot who was proud of both his service in the Army and his wife's service in the Marine Corps. Following his service, he worked with Sizemore Security for a number of years. He enjoyed listening to podcasts and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by is first wife Sandra E. Laux and a brother, Raymond Laux. Surviving family members left to cherish his memory include his wife of seven years Lorrie L. Laux; his children, Allen Clark Laux, David Lee Laux; his stepchildren, Cecelia Lynnette McCauley, Carrie Irene McCauley, Jedediah Emmanuel McCauley, Christine Elizabeth Mance; and one grandson, Jason Lee Scott McCauley.
