Robert Tyler Johnston, age 72, of Pevely, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at his home. He was born September 19, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Margaret (nee Kneisel) and Oliver Henry Johnston. He is survived by his children Christina Johnston-Daniel of Pevely, Zane Hymore of San Diego, California, Kristen (Jared) Lograsso of Bel Nor, Missouri and Justin Johnston of Pevely; siblings Terry Johnston of Pevely, Joan (David) Huerta of El Paso, Texas and Barbara Johnston of California; grandchildren Colton Daniel, Logan Daniel, Dalton Daniel and Ameal Lemons III. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Arthur Johnston and great-grandson Rhett Michael Lemons. Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at Vinyard Funeral Home Hillcrest in Pevely. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pevely.

Violet Rose Flowers was born on August 29, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of the late Walter & Essie (nee Stahl) Accord. She died on November 11, 2023 at her home in Pevely at the age of 88. Rose is survived by her daughters, Debra (Mike) Cornelius of St. Peters and Carol (Mark) Grobe of Pevely; grandchildren: Renee Flowers, Kyle Flowers, Michael (Maria) Cornelius, Joe Cornelius, Kristy (Jason Kraus) Handy-Kraus, Carl Keeven II and Danielle (Michael) Navratil; and great grandchildren: Olivia, Mia, Lorenzo, Doug (Margaret), Carl "C. J. " III (Michaela), Donovan (Melanie) and Michael "M. J. " and one great great grandson: Zander. Preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Flowers; one son, Thomas Flowers whose long time companion Vicki Rolfes survives; one grandson, Tommy Flowers and two sisters, Eileen Flowers and Betty Jo Accord and three brothers, Bill Accord, Earl Accord and Ed Accord. Rose was retired as an executive secretary for the Kroger Company. She was born August 20, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Marie (nee Lorenz) and Paul Kluge. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Eugene Chester Summers, Sr. , and her brother Paul (the late Marion) Kluge. She is survived by daughters Pamela (the late Jeffrey) Spooner of Rolla, Missouri and Tracy (Mark) Sullivan of Pevely, sons Eugene Chester (Heidi) Summers, Jr. of Forest Hill, Maryland and Thomas Summers of Festus; grandchildren Kate (Pawel) Zurkowski, Emily (Dan) Wassilak, Ellen (Trevor) Dinsdale, Jason (Jennifer) Winters, Nicholas (Lauren) Winters, Holly Winters, Zachary Summers, Jacob (Erica) Sullivan, Clarissa (fiance Jacob Conrad) Sullivan, Mackenzie (Zachary) Noerper and Madison Summers; and great-grandchildren Tadek, Tomek, Baylor, Collier, Emma, Macy, Nathan, Sydney, Joey, Barrett, Wyatt, Colton, Brinley, Weston, Adalynn and baby boy Scotty on the way. She retired from Watlow Electric in St. Louis and had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, collecting dolls and Mickey Mouse memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her wonderful family. She will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her and her beloved dog Lexi. Memorial visitation will be Sunday October 29, 2023 from 2 pm until the time of memorial service at 5 pm at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Rev. Justin Mativa. Martha Ann Sansoucie, age 48 of Pevely, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Pevely. She was born October 14, 1975, in Phoenix, Arizona the daughter of the late Gail Behrens and Jimmy Dale Pippin. She is survived by her daughter Ashlee Birdwell of Orlando, Florida; sisters Mandie (the late Kent) Swart of Arnold, Missouri, Wendy (Dennis) Henderson of Arnold, April Steffen of Festus, Missouri, Christina (Mike) Millerbaugh of Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Martha worked for many years as a medical assistant for Mercy Healthcare and Urgent care facilities in Pacific, Missouri. She was a member and 2nd vice president of the Ladie's Auxiliary for the Amvets Post #42 in Herculaneum, Missouri where she also enjoyed working as a bartender. Martha was a very loving mother, sister and friend and she will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023, from 5:00 P. Born September 29, 1950 in Earle, AR to parents Edgar Parris Sr. and Dorothy (nee Files) Parris. On July 19, 1968 he married his sweetheart Brenda (nee Pierson) Parris in St. Louis, Missouri. Buck a hard worker; he was an accomplished welder, a published song writer and musician and loved to build things - he could fix anything!
