Robert Lee "Bob" Jennings, Number 28, Grafton High School Class of 52 State Champs, has left the field (earth), to celebrate one last victory (his eternal home in heaven). Robert L Jennings passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022 after an extended illness, to which his daughter, Shaunda Rauch, was his primary care giver for the last three months. Jennings graduated from Grafton High School, and continued his studies and sports career at Fairmont State College. He later joined the Army, serving as a mechanic and chopper pilot in the US Army during Vietnam. After his active duty, Jennings returned to his hometown to continue his service in the Army where he retired from the 363 MP Reserve Unit as Sergeant First Class. Outside of his military career, Jennings retired from the CSX Railroad, a farmer, and a member of the Wilson Ridge church of Christ. Jennings is survived by his loving wife, Diana A. Jennings, son, Robert L. Jennings II, daughter, Shaunda Y. Rauch and husband Steve, and grandson, Shaun E. Rauch. Private family services and interment will take place at the WV National Cemetery.
