Robert Jasinski Obituary

Robert T. Jasinski, 95, of North Liberty, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2023. He was born on May 7, 1927 in North Liberty, and was a life-long area farmer. He and the former Rosemary Audernaert were married in St. Casimir Catholic Church on February 5, 1972. Together they shared 37 years until Rosemary's passing on June 8, 2009. Robert is survived by 12 nieces and nephews, their spouses and children. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Jasinski and Nancy Jasinski. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, his parents, Harry and Agnes (Niespodziany) Jasinski, three sisters, Evelyn Arendt, Adeline Jasinski and Esther Lubinski, three brothers, Daniel, Raymond and David, and one niece, Jackie Grabarek. Robert was a member of the Crumstown Conservation Club and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He was a World War II veteran. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. , South Bend, IN from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 28, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church 55756 Tulip Rd. , New Carlisle, IN with visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Committal Services with military honors will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church.
