Robert Huron Obituary

Robert Blinn Huron, 71, of Centerville, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at his residence. Robert was born June 23, 1951 in Baytown, to parents; Diarus Curtis and Geral Marie Miks Huron, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in Centerville for the past 23 years. He was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School, attended Lee College, and was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam era. His work experience included HL&P, and Baytown PD; including both patrol and detective. Robert also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and sitting on his porch with his beloved dog Zip. Mr. Huron was preceded in death by his father: D. C. "Buck" Huron, mother: Geral Miks Huron, sister: Cynthia Trout, and brother: Harold Huron. He is survived by his daughter: Lisa Michelle Dominick, son: Michael Shane Huron and wife Ashley, grandchildren: Hunter, Madison, and Brooke Dominick, Lauren Hornback, Riley, Harrison, and Harleigh Huron, great-grandson: Colin Dominick, extended family: Bryan Dominick, numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends. The family will receive friends from 5 p. m. to 8 p. m. , Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p. m. , Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown.
