Robert Houser Obituary

Robert B. Houser, 82, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Monaca, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Canterbury Place in Pittsburgh. He was born on January 2, 1941 in Aliquippa to the late frank K. and Margery Bradford Houser. Robert was a former member of the Crestmont Alliance Church in Hopewell Township. He was a retired civil engineer with the St. Joe Lead Company of Monaca, Robert proudly served in the Army during Vietnam. Robert is survived by his two sons; Alan (Mary Ray) Houser of Pittsburgh, Norman (Sylvia) Houser of China, Two grandchildren; Olivia and James Houser, a brother; Kenneth Houser of Aliquippa, and a sister Marilyn Brock of Corbin, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife; Gladys M. (Smith), and his two brothers; John and Frank Houser. According to Robert's wishes, services are private and have been entrusted to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home, Inc. 273 Rt. 68. Rochester, PA 15074. Robert will be laid to rest at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park next to his wife.
