Robert" Bob" Goza of Beaufort, Missouri was born May 9, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Edward W. Goza and his wife, Florence Goza, nee Kieffer. He passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at the age of 77 years. He received his schooling in St Louis, Missouri. Bob was united in marriage to Margaret "Peggy" Friebus in St. Louis in 1963. They Made their home in St. Louis and moved to Beaufort in 1975. In his early years Bob served as a Brentwood Police Office for a few years; he then went back to school to become a Broadcast Engineer and worked for KMOV Channel 4 for many years. Bob was an amateur "Ham" radio operator, and his call sign was "WOBOB". Bob served as Treasurer for the Society of Broadcast Engineers for 30 years, he was a life time member of ZERO-Beaters Amateur Radio Club, holding several offices over the years. Bob had a passion for DX-ing (long distance communications to other countries.) Mr. Goza was preceded in death by his wife Peggy, on January 5, 2007. He is survived by many friends.
