Robert Gibbons Jr Obituary

"Robert (Bob) F. Gibbons, Jr, 62, passed on 23 April 2023 at his home in Annapolis MD after a lengthy illness. Robert worked all his life as an Electrician, first with his dad and then he received his Master Electrical license and went into business for himself. After a time on his own he went to work for Anne Arundel County as an Electrical Inspector, which he retired from after 22 years. Robert enjoyed traveling, mostly on cruises (over 30 of them) and with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids. Robert is survived by his wife Ruth of 45 years, his son Robert III (Kristin) of Edgewater and his daughter Christina Valentine of Arnold, his two grandsons, Michael and Adam Valentine, granddaughter Amelia Gibbons, two sisters Mary Dickerson of Henderson and Janet Calabrese of Stevensville. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Lyndsay Valentine, sister Beverly Catterton, brother Bert Gibbons and parents Robert and Mary Gibbons. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Eastport United Methodist Church, 926 Bay Ridge Ave. Annapolis, MD 21403. Bob\u0027s funeral service will begin at 10 am on Thursday, April 27 at Eastport United Methodist Church. Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
