Robert Eugene (Baby Gene) Fenoff passed away on Wednesday 27th September 2023. He was the son of Joe and Carol Fenoff and brother to James Fenoff, Rodney Fenoff, Joey Fenoff, Robin Merrill, Terry Fenoff and Cindy Hill. He is also survived by his adopted family Darrel and Cindy Blocker and their sons and daughter, Josh, Derrick and Shea Blocker. Baby Gene was born in Crestview, Florida on November 3, 1956 at the old Enzor Hospital and delivered by the late Dr Rhett Enzor. He attended Crestview High School. He worked many years alongside his Father at Insul Pack. He joined Auburn Water System in June of 1984 and retired in December 2021, receiving the Longevity Award for many years of service. Baby Gene was all things old cars and Hot Rods. He was a long-time member of the Lake Jackson Cruisers in Florala, Alabama and one of the establishing members of the current Spanish Trail Cruisers. Above all Gene loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. When not working he was always found in a tree stand somewhere or scouting out the best fishing spot around. He could be found most mornings gathered around a table of good friends at the Tropical Palm restaurant. He did have a good story line on just about anything in Crestview. Lana Diane Youngblood Hansen, 78, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at her home in Crestview, Florida. She is loved and will be missed by many. She was born to Herman and Nancy Kennedy Youngblood on December 22, 1944 in Crestview, Florida. She grew up living in Escambia Farms and attended Escambia Farms school. In the third grade the family moved to Crestview. She attended Northwood Elementary and graduated from Crestview High School in 1962. She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah graduating with a degree in Elementary Education. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a missionary in the Florida Tallahassee Mission. She then became a teacher at Northwood Elementary in Crestview. She met Robert Allen Hansen while he was serving in the U. S. Air Force and was assigned to Eglin AFB, not far from Crestview. They married in the Salt Lake City Utah LDS Temple in 1970. Her husband received an honorable discharge from the Air Force in 1972. They moved to Utah where he found work in the civil service at Hill Air Force Base, where they raised their 4 children in Layton, Utah. In 2002, Lana and her husband moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they enjoyed serving in the Atlanta temple. When Robert retired, they returned to Lana's hometown of Crestview. Lana was a devoted homemaker, wife, and mother of four children Rebecca Hatch (Jason), Allen (Heather Marie), Layne (Heather Lynn) and Cindy Huffman (Larry). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Loretta Bangerter and grandson Porter Hatch. Lana loved her family and enjoyed working on her family history, sending cards to family and friends, sewing and quilting. She was fond of dancing at a young age. She enjoyed attending family reunions and gatherings. Thank you to Dr. Christopher and staff. John D. Crawford of Baker passed away at the age of 84 on November 27, 2023. He was a life-long resident of Crestview. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry & Bessie Crawford; Brothers, Lonnie Ray Crawford, Herbert L. Crawford, James E. Crawford and Gerald H. Crawford; Sisters, Edna Mae Mason, Betty J. Barnhill and Glenda Newman. J. D. leaves behind a legacy of family, his beloved wife of 56 years, Faye Crawford; sons and daughters in law, Kenneth & Carol and Kevin & Cathryn; grandchildren, Ashlyn & Chris Tinklepaugh, Apryl Dorsey, Jesse & Bridget Crawford, Dillon Crawford, Joseph Crawford, Bailey & Travis Burton, Gracie & Brett Aldridge and Carson Crawford; Great grandchildren, Kate Dorsey, Levi Tinklepaugh, Ramona Aldridge, Harlow Burton, John Dillon Crawford and Trace Everett Crawford along with numerous extended family and friends. J. D. loved God and his country. He proudly served in both the Navy & Army. He made a career as an Emergency Medical Technician. J. D. was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting & fishing with his family. Everyone knew J. D. as being quiet and reserved; that is until you got him reeved up! There was never a doubt that he loved his family beyond measure. J. D. considered it an honor when his last great grandchild was born and nicknamed J. D. His love went beyond his immediate family to his cousin Rhett whom he considered a brother and loved dearly. J. Crystle Michelle Dawson 39, of Crestview, Florida passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023. Crystle was born on February 29, 1984 to Larry Dawson and Stephanie Vance in Winter Garden, Florida. She moved to our area from Orlando, Florida as a young child and has been a resident ever since. Crystle was paralyzed in 2001 due to a tragic accident. It didn't stop her from enjoying life. She loved her family and family gatherings. She loved watching crime shows (she was our detective) along with family game night. Most of all she loved being surrounded by her family and friends. Crystle was very loved and will be missed by all. Crystle is preceded in death by her mom, Stephanie Renee Vance, her paternal grandfather, George Dawson Sr. , her maternal papa,, Marvin Vance, her aunt and uncle, Deborah and John Butler and her uncle, William Vance. "Ethel Viola Cook, age 98, of Pensacola and Crestview, Florida, passed away on November 16, 2023. She was born in Hammonton, New Jersey, on June 23, 1925, to Joe and Ethel Gatto. She was married to Fred P. Cook for 36 years. Ethel worked for the Escambia County Council on Aging, Longleaf Elementary School, and other employers, but was mostly a housewife in her lifetime. She was a long-time member of the St. Andrew Methodist Church in Pensacola, more briefly the First Methodist Church in Crestview, and other Methodist Churches in the areas where she lived. Ethel had a passion for cooking, sewing, homemaking, golf, snow-skiing, and travelling and was also politically active. As a Navy wife, she lived in New Jersey, Texas, Maryland, Newfoundland, Guam, and Pensacola, Florida. As a widow she lived in Kentucky, Wisconsin, Michigan, and finally settled in Crestview, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Cook, sister Betty Sacco, and brothers Eddie Gatto, Frank Gatto, and Joe Gatto. She is survived by her daughter Cindy Stith (husband Richard), her son Fred Cook (wife Amanda), 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Kenneth D. Seiffert, Sr of Crestview, FL passed away on November 17, 2023 at Crestview Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Pensacola, FL on September 19, 1940 to William & Irene Seiffert. He is preceded by his parents; brothers, William Seiffert Jr; James Seiffert and daughter, Jan Seiffert. Ken leaves behind his loving wife, Brenda Seiffert; his children, Brenda Murph, Kenneth (Leslie) Seiffert, Jr, David Seiffert (Dawn) and Carla (Hal) Crowson; Grandchildren, Ariel (Ronnie) Crews, Lily Murph, Kenneth (Sara) Seiffert III, Jacob (Katie) Seiffert, Brayton (Morgan) Seiffert, Daniel Seiffert and Gavin (Christiane) Crowson; Great grandchildren, Cambree, Carlee & Colbee Crews, Jack Seiffert and Henry Seiffert; great great grandchildren, Rhett Seiffert and Kase Holt along with numerous extended family and friends. Most people will remember Ken from being a member of First Baptist Church of Crestview or an associate with AFLAC but all will remember him as a kind, compassionate man. He was part of the Life Underwriters Board of Crestview, City of Crestview Police & Firefighters Board, various Little League activities and Crestview Quarterback Club. Ken led by example and instilled in his children the integrity of working hard and taking pride in a job well done. Even though his family mourns his passing, they take comfort in knowing that Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal.
