"Robert Paul Farmer passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 69, after a long battle with the many complications of Multiple Sclerosis. He was a lifelong resident of the Tulsa area and the past 12 years in Talala. Robert was married to Mary Buthod in 1972. They had one son, Christopher Jon. In 1994, Robert eloped with the love of his life, Patricia "Trish" Sullivan Biadasz. Trish brought two children into the marriage, Andrew David Biadasz and Danielle Elizabeth Biadasz Dobias. Robert was a wonderful father to all three children. He delighted in the grandchildren that immensely blessed his life: Benjamin Jon Farmer, 18 years old; Elise Arlington Farmer, 14 years old; Lincoln Arthur Dobias, 5 years old; and Ava Elizabeth Dobias, 3 years old. Robert retired from Occidental Petroleum after 26 years of service. He did contract work with Duke Energy and Williams for a number of years before retiring to be at home in the country. He enjoyed yard work, tinkering with projects at home and keeping track of the many animals that he and Trish have had over the years. In the most recent years he enjoyed having Bichon Frise dogs because they were little and liked to go for rides on his electric golf cart or wheelchair. The chair was not only reserved for the dogs but for young grandchildren, too. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Donna Farmer. He is survived by his wife Trish; sons, Christopher and Andrew; daughter, Danielle; grandchildren, Benjamin, Elise, Lincoln and Ava; daughter-in-law Caroline Farmer; son-in-law Alex Dobias; sister Deborah Bowman and brother Stephen Farmer. Additionally, there are numerous cousins and friends that loved and will miss Robert dearly. The family will hold all services at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel, 3612 E 91st St, Tulsa, OK. A visitation will be in the Family Center on Monday, May 15th from 5-7:00 pm. The funeral will be in Southwood Chapel on Tuesday, May 16th at 2:00 pm. Friends may honor Robert's memory with a donation to Skiatook Paws & Claws Animal Rescue or to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 918-585-1151"
