Robert Elliott Obituary

Blacksburg -- Robert Dewitt Elliott, 52, of 338 White Farm Road, passed away on Friday, April 21st, 2023, at his residence. Born in Gaffney, SC, he was the husband of Tracy Brown Elliott and the son of the late Thomas Franklin Elliott Sr. and Carolyn Johnson Elliott. Robert was many things; a son, a brother, a husband, a coach, and a friend, but his favorite role in life was being "Daddy" to Shelby and Justin and a father figure to his nephews. He also enjoyed golfing, baseball and Clemson football. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Justin McKay Elliott of Blacksburg, a daughter, Shelby Elliott Major and husband, Nicholas of New Orleans, a brother, Toby Elliott and wife, Pam of Gaffney, three sisters, Paula Wallace and husband, Steve of Gastonia, Glenda Dyer and husband, Roy of Grover, and Ruthie Broome and husband, Steve of Blacksburg, father in law, Steve Brown of Blacksburg, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his mother in law, Mary Elizabeth Brown and his grandparents, Robert and Elsie Queen Johnson. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. The family will be at 104 S. Chester St. , Blacksburg, SC.
