Robert East Obituary

Ben was one of a kind. His sweet soul and kind nature was unmatched. He was a loving and supportive father, husband, brother, son, and friend to all. He worked for 18 years at Ford Credit making his way to the top, as well as earning his Bachelor's degree in accounting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loyal German shepherd, Reika, as well as participating in community events. Ben was eager to learn new techniques and skills in barbeque, which led him to assisting in BBQ competitions and sampling hot sauces. He also loved and appreciated quality, which was exemplified by the pride he had for his Mustang and efforts he made to improve his home. Ben will be deeply missed by his wife, Melina East, daughters Aubrey Rose and Abigail Daisy East, mother Sandy Buchanan, father Robert East and wife Tracy, sister Alysia East and niece Adelyn Maphies, grandmother Ila Buchanan, aunt Connie Buchanan, uncle Waylon Gene and cousins, Erin, Dora, LeighAnn, and Chloe. Ben is preceded in death by Waylon "Big Daddy" Gene Buchanan (maternal grandfather), Cora Margaret Perry East (paternal grandmother), Dora "Mom" Hyatt (maternal great-grandmother).
