December 5, 2023

The world has lost a very good man. Mark Beining, 64, passed away unexpectedly on November 30th, 2023. The official cause of death is pneumonia due to covid, but we all believe Mark died of a broken heart after the passing of his beloved daughter, Marissa, this past summer. Mark was born on December 1st, 1958, to Ken and Carol Beining in Appleton. Mark grew up in a household of 4 boys and 1 girl. It was a childhood full of love, fun and so many adventures that are endlessly retold by his siblings. He adored his brothers and sister. After graduating from Appleton West, Mark went on to a lengthy career at Consolidated Construction. He was always hardworking and dedicated. Mark met his wife, Jill, on a blind date. He went home that night and told his mother "I just met the girl I am going to marry. " Mark and Jill married on December 5th, 1981, and would have celebrated 42 years of a great life. Mark’s great love and joy were his daughters, Mindy and Marissa or as he called them, Burger and Boom Boom. When his first, Mindy, was born he said "I have never loved anyone the way I love her. " Mark was a very involved parent, he co-parented equally with Jill, though he was much more a pushover. Mark was blessed with another kind of love with his grandchildren Lexy 19, Abbi 17, Marley 11, Kaley 6 and Jase 4. He simply adored them. How to put in words the kind of man Mark was? First and foremost, he was very kind, he treated everyone with integrity, a lesson that we have all benefitted from. He would not tolerate anyone talking behind backs and would say "sweep in front of your own door. " Mark didn’t always say much but when he did, it was always full of wisdom…. or wit. Mark was extremely funny, he spewed witticisms that have stayed with everyone forever. Until his back limited him, Mark was an avid outdoorsman, fishing and hunting. He was always with his loyal companion, one of his many German Shorthaired Pointers. His special place was the family cottage on Lake Winneconne. His ashes will be spread there. He enjoyed watching all the Wisconsin sports teams. Mark and Jill spent many Sundays at Lambeau Field, some of his most cherished times. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Carol Beining and his daughter, Marissa Beining. He is survived by his wife Jill, his daughter Mindy (Tony) Fischer and their children Kaley and Jase, Brian Bojarski with Lexy, Abbi and Marley, his brothers Mike (Julie) Beining, Tim (Jodi) Beining, Tom (Sally) Beining and his sister Chris (Dennis) O’Connor. He is also survived by Jill’s parents Gordon and Pat Dobbe, his brothers-in-law Jeff (Kathleen) Dobbe, John (El) Dobbe and Jim Dobbe and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, especially his dearest Mike and Roxane Beinemann. Entered Into Eternal Rest Tuesday November 14, 2023 Roger A. Lehrer, Sr. Age 82 passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 14, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center – Neenah. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer just seventeen days prior. He had declined invasive treatments choosing quality of life over longevity. Hoping for more time to spend with family and friends. He was looking forward to getting together for dinner. Unfortunately, he had complications and required hospitalization on Sunday afternoon. He received excellent care from the doctors, nurses, and CNAs. Tuesday morning, Father Bob Kollath came to see Roger in the hospital. He performed the last rites and a prayer service for the family. Roger passed surrounded by his entire family, including three of his grandchildren. The energy of the room was overwhelmed with peace and grace. The only wish unfulfilled was for him to have been at home. Roger had an amazing talent to be able to visualize an idea and bring it to fruition without any pattern. It is evident in his woodworking, landscaping, interior designs, exteriors of garages and homes. He also had the most amazing green thumb. Perhaps it came from the farming background. He recently discovered a new interest of family genealogy. Roger was born April 4, 1941, in Town of Bovina, WI. Son of the late Robert R. and Katherine B. (Hopfensperger) Lehrer. He grew up in a large family of two girls and six boys on a farm in Shiocton. He was the third generation of contractors and was self-employed. Paul Stout

Paul Stout

Age - N/A

October 26, 2023

Paul Stout was born January 31st 1938 in Chariton, Iowa to Alice and Huett Stout. Paul was a Huge St Louis Cardinals fan and because of his time living in Kansas City a diehard Chiefs fan. In the early 70’s Paul worked for Braniff Airlines and chartered all the flights for the Chiefs. Many of us received his every Sunday text "Go Chiefs" and that will be missed. Paul was also very active in coaching basketball, football, baseball, and teaching golf. He was amazing at golf and won several company outings. Paul’s number one passion was cars. Whether it was looking at them, talking about them or watching them race. Many times, on a Sunday we would cruise the local car lots looking at their inventory. Something that he did right up until going into the hospital. Most of his career was selling cars in Kansas City or Panama City Beach, Florida. If you wanted to have fun Paul was the guy to hang out with. He loved to have fun, talk, and tell stories. Any place that you walked into either knew him or was his friend by the time he left. Paul's last few days it was very difficult for him to say much. Several times he said to me, "I want to talk" I am sure he is talking fine now with a big, tall scotch in his hand and having a great time. Paul is survived by his daughter in St Louis, and her two sons Kyle and Mathew. His son Steve Stout and his 5 children, Shannon, Hannah, Emma, Ethan, and Elle. And of course, what he always referred to as his favorite daughter in law Kiersten Stout. Paul will be missed by many and always remembered as a fun-loving sweetheart. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.Show more
