Our Beloved Richard J. Tambunga, age 54 of Austin, entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 surrounded by His Loving Family. Richard is preceded in death by His Parents; Felix Jose, Sr. and Manuelita (Gonzalez) Tambunga, and 1 Brother; Daniel Tambunga. Mr. Tambunga is survived by Siblings; Margarita Cardenas (Lee), Maria Zuniga (Juan), Armando Tambunga (Anna), Yolanda Matias (Ben), Rosalinda DeJesus (Louis), Felix Jose Tambunga, Jr. (Sabrina), Jerry Tambunga Lydia), and Ruben Tambunga (Michelle), and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Visitation Services will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2023 from 5:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. , with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:"00 p. m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at 10:00 a. m. with Rev. Fr. Pete Logsdon officiating at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 126 W. Oltorf, Austin, Texas, 78704. Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Tex as 78704.
