Richard Deweese Jr Obituary

Richard Edward DeWeese, Jr. , 67, of Bowling Green passed away May 5, 2023 in Glasgow, Kentucky. The Chicago, Illinois native was born October 30, 1955 to the late Richard Edward DeWeese, Sr. and Roma Louise Thomes DeWeese. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 39 years, Teresa DeWeese and sister, Marilyn Ballard. Richard was a retired Union leather worker, corrections officer, and licensed skin-diver. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his son, Travis Edward DeWeese (Lottie) of Bowling Green; grandson, Luke DeWeese; sister, Linda Upton Pittman Ballard of Glasgow; step-daughter, April Finn; stepson, Eric Graham; and step-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Justin Alvey. Cremation was chosen with a memorial service at a later date. J. C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels has been entrusted with arrangements.
