BARRE - Ronald Edward Krause Jr. 63,devoted husband of 40 years to his wife and love of his life Robin (Lindsey) Krause, passed away on August 18,2023 surrounded by his loving family and friends after a long and hard fight with cancer. Ronald was born in Worcester, the son of the late Ronald E. Krause Sr. and Janet (Williams) Krause. He had been a resident of Barre for the last 35 years, having previously lived in Spencer. In addition to his wife, Ronald is survived by his daughter Rebecca and her husband Jeremy Smith; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Calista, and Sawyer; his sister Brenda "Skippy" and her husband Garrett Baker; along with extended family members and countless friends. Ronald was a graduate of David Prouty High School where he played on the baseball team and was captain of the football team. He proudly served in the United States Army where he realized his love for Alaska. He worked at the Spencer Highway Department, as well as for the Department of Corrections NCCI in Gardner where he retired as a Sergeant after 20 years of service. He was a member of the Spencer Fish & Game, Plainsfield Beagle Club, and an NRA Life Member. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, family time, and countless trips to Alaksa. Calling hours will be held on Sunday,August 27,2023 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM in Pillsbury Funeral Home 96 S. Barre Rd, Barre. WARREN- Philip J. Theodore Jr. 76, husband of 55 years to Gladys (Stockenberg) Theodore passed away on August 10, 2023. Born in Worcester he was the son of the late Philip J. Theodore Sr and Blanche (Sviklas) Theodore and graduated from South High School. Prior to retirement he was employed by New England High Carbon and share owner and worker of Astoria Plywood Mill and A O Tech. Phil enjoyed listening to music and his Elvis Presley record collection,playing with his pets, long walks and long rides with his wife, enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and watching movies. In addition to his wife Philip is survived by two sisters, Marianne Pingetori and Donna Rivers; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his best friends Carl and James Stockenberg.
