Michael Alan Raab, born in Pontiac, MI on April 26th, 1948 to Raymond and Beatrice Raab, died November 6th, 2023 after a short battle with Lung Cancer. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Donna Raab; three children, Ryan (Jennifer) Raab, Eric (Joanie) Raab, and Andy (Becca) Raab; grandchildren Levi, Drew, Kacey, Ana, Maria, Sophia, Will, Joey, Brady, Addy, and Cece. He is also survived by his Sister Kathy (Jerry Erickson) Taddia, and brother-in-law Randy Murphy. Mike was preceded in death by his sister Mary Ann Murphy, brother James Raab, sister-in-law Coleen Raab, brother-in-law Nick Taddia, and grandson Evan Raab. Mike graduated from Lake Orion High School. He was a long time resident of Oxford, MI, and retired from General Motors after 38 years of employment. He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren especially on an annual family trip to Torch Lake. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren's athletic events. He took pride in having the most lush fairway front lawn in the neighborhood. Some of his favorite activities included playing euchre with friends, visiting with family around the campfire, playing table-top hockey, and enjoying happy hour while soaking in the sun on his porch. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 715 N. Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion on Thursday, November 16th at 11 AM with visitation at the church beginning at 10:30 AM.Show more
