Mrs. Rhonda Barber Farmer, age 59 of Bremen, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rome, GA, on July 16, 1962, to parents. Shirlee Williams Barber and the late Richard Eugene Barber. Employed by Haynes Heating & Air for more than 30 years, Rhonda was a dedicated employee and retired as office manager only when her illness would not allow her to continue working. She was also a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church. Rhonda enjoyed helping in the Nursery at Corinth Baptist Church because she loved children, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren. She treasured their family get togethers and being the "go to person" for her children when advice was needed. In her spare time she loved reading and watching the hummingbirds come and go. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Tony Farmer, whom she had loved for 31 years, 25 of those years married; her children, Derek and Shelly Mathis, Rockmart, Josh and Jessica Mathis, Cedartown, Brad and Sandy Farmer, Temple, and Chad and Amy Farmer, Buchanan; her mother, Shirlee Barber, Cedartown; and her brother, Greg Barber, Cedartown. Also surviving are her precious grandchildren who were the apple of her eye: Kaitlyn Crawford, Katelyn Mathis, Cameron Mathis, Rylee Mathis, Braden Farmer, Joshua Farmer, Tristan Farmer, Aidan Farmer, and Haven Farmer, as well as other family and friends. Funeral services for Rhonda Farmer will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. John Lemmings and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Church Cemetery with Jesse Barber and Marvin McCullough officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. The family will welcome floral contributions, but they request memorial contributions be given to Corinth Baptist Church Nursery, 43 Rockmart Road, Bremen, GA 30110.
