Rhoda Leola (Knutson) Oscarson, 95, was born on November 27, 1926, toB. C. and Lettie (Thompson) Knutson on the family farm near Radcliffe, Iowa. She peacefully entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2022. After graduating from Radcliffe High School in 1944, she taught grades 1-8 in a one-room rural school for one year. Rhoda became a registered nurse after graduating from Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis. She also received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Augsburg College. Rhoda was united in marriage to Elder Wallace Oscarson on September 2, 1952, at her home church in Radcliffe. In 1953, Elder and Rhoda attended the University of Oslo, Norway, for one term. She faithfully served in support of Elder in churches in Everest, KS, Newfolden, MN, and Long Beach, CA. She was genuine and caring as she humbly worked behind the scenes to continually point people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. She lovingly and unselfishly raised five children.
