Reyes Escamilla, IV, 58, answered his final call and entered the kingdom of heaven on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Laredo, Texas. Reyes served his community proudly for over 25 years as a Patrol Officer with the Laredo Police Department, having recently retired in 2021. Reyes is preceded in death by his father; Reyes Escamilla III; mother, Teresa Graciela Escamilla; brother; Marco Antonio Escamilla Left behind to cherish his memory are his children: Vanessa (Alejandro) Palomo, Erica (Juan Carlos Arriaga) Escamilla, Amanda (Randy) Castillo, David (Emily White) Escamilla; grandchildren: Aaliyah Palomo, Sebastian Arriaga, Leonardo Arriaga, Elijah Castillo, Margaret Castillo; his former spouse and mother of his children: Margie Lynn Siegfried; siblings: Jose Alfredo (Sandra) Escamilla, Jose Juan Escamilla, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially those of his former police officer's at the Laredo Police Department. He will forever be remembered and loved. The family will receive condolences on Monday, September 11, 2023, from 5 to 9 p. m. at Hillside Funerals & Cremations, where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will be held at 7 p. m. A Chapel Service will be held at the funeral chapel on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at 9 a. m. Procession will form upon the conclusion of the chapel service and depart to the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his father.
