Funeral Service for Retha Opha (Keithley) Echols, 96 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM U. S. National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. She was born on August 4, 1925 in Springfield, Missouri to Alice (Kieth) Keithley and Albert Keithley and passed away on June 19, 2022 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was married to Quinton Echols on April 20, 1948 in Mulberry, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 3, 2006. Mrs. Echols was a homemaker. Survivors are: 1 Daughter: Charlotte Echols of Sallisaw, OK; 2 Grandchildren: Teresa Delancy of Sallisaw, OK and Curtis Cullison of Vian, OK; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Zack Delancy and Dustin Delancy; 3 Great-great-grandchildren: Jesse, Zain and Logan Delancy; 6 Sisters: Ruth Keithley, Norma Baurichter, June Baurichter, Cassie Coursey, Ruby Keithley and Mary Sendsown; 1 Brother: Burt Keithley; Several other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Martha Witt, parents, grandson: Aaron Crabtree and great-grandson, Jessie Dale Delancy. Active Pallbearers will be Curtis Cullison, Zach Delancy, Dustin Delancy, Jesse Delancy, Floyd Crabtree and Damon Glass. Honorary Pallbearers will be Zain Delancy and Logan Delancy. Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm.
