Phillip “Phil” Seymour age 85, of Lynn Haven, Florida passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2024. He was born on September 4, 1938, in Lanette, Alabama to parents, James and Fannie Mae Seymour. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in science and a Master’s Degree in Physics. From there He went to work for the Navy Base as the ADP Computer Security Officer for 39 years. He enjoyed playing tennis, ping pong and bridge. He was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church for many years where he served many rolls. His favorites were being a mentor for the youth and Sunday School teacher for the Seekers class. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and watching Auburn Football. He loved his family fiercely and everyone knew it. He always loved a good laugh and joked often. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends, but we rejoice knowing he is pain free and we will see him again one day. Phillip is predeceased by his parents James and Fannie Mae, and his three brothers James, Bill and Wayne Seymour. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susie, his children; Greg Seymour and Susan Wise (Chris), four grandsons; Trenton, Grant, Carter Seymour, Tanner Wise and several nephews and nieces. On Monday February 12, the family will receive visitors from 6pm-8pm at the Kent- Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 13th at 10am at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 2001 West 11th Street Panama City, Florida with Reverend John O. Blount officiating. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2403 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL 32405. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrew United Methodist Memorial fund or the American Heart Association. Diane Marie Lee, age 74, of Lynn Haven, Florida passed away on January 27th, 2024 at her home. She was born in Tacoma, Washington on April 4th,1949 to Brant and Dorothy (Anderson) Johnson. Diane graduated from Mount Tahoma High School and went on to get an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Diane had a wonderful childhood growing up at her parents beach house on the Paget Sound, with being right on the water. She had a lot of love for boating, water-skiing, fishing, and digging for clams with her family and friends. Instilling hobbies and skills that she would forever use and pass down to her children and their children. Diane had a great work ethic and started out as a car hop as a teenager. She later went on to work for the city of Tacoma's post office and school district. Diane retired as a Civil Service Planning and production control clerk at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Diane had the joy of living in Panama (Central America) as a military wife where she got to experience new beauties everyday. She would often love to go exploring through the vast jungles, where new experiences were around every corner and maybe a snake or two! Diane later moved to Alaska and called it her forever home. She loved spending time at her cabin with family in Hope, Alaska, where she grew beautiful gardens. While in Alaska she enjoyed camping, hiking fishing, and watching the wild life all around her. Diane spent her last seven years in Lynn Haven, Florida with family. Diane enjoyed sitting in the sunroom watching the birds and squirrels while eating ice cream. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Master Sargent James L. Lee Jr., her brother David Johnson and her parents. Diane is survived by her children Barbara (Ronnie) Salas and James Lee III. Her beloved grandchildren Tristian Lee, Alexandria (Allie) and Jarrod Salas. Murton (Murt) Waterman Lyon, Jr. 88. of Lynn Haven, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 10. 2024. He was born to Murton and Edna Lyon on April 12, 1935 in Naugatuck, CT. Murton is preceded in death by his parents Murton and Edna. Murton is survived by his wife Hope of 63 years; sons, Gregory and Riqui; brother, Edward; grandchildren, Gregory, Jordan, Derek, and Devin; great-grandchildren, Eloise and Reid. Murt was a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point. After graduating he served 10 years in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant. After his Naval Service, he worked for the U.S. Navy as a Mechanical Engineer and retired from the Naval Coastal Systems Center, August of 1990. After retirement Murt enjoyed, woodworking, gardening, and building models. His passions were sailing, trains, and collecting diecast cars. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Family will receive friends 9:00 A.M. 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that a tree be planted in memory of Murt.

Theresia “Tess” Genoveva Buccelli, age 74, passed away on Friday, January 12th, 2024 in Lynn Haven, Florida. She was born on December 6, 1949 in Frankfurt, Germany. Tess retired from Montgomery County Parking Authority in Maryland, and then moved to Lynn Haven, Florida. She enjoyed being close to the beach and the warm weather. Her hobbies included playing bingo, watching WWE wrestling, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets. Tess was a member of Saint Dominic Catholic Church. Tess will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband: Carmen Buccelli; children: Michelle Courville, John (Gennifer) Davis Jr., and Ashley (Chris) Salmon; grandchildren: Jessica (Cody) Lowery, James Courville, Kasen Salmon, and Kynlee Salmon; great-grandson: Gideon Lowery; brothers: Ted (Gertie) Smiley and Bobby (Amy) Smiley; and sister: JoAnne Smiley. Tess was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Smiley Jr. and Eleonora Smiley (Ptok); son: Dennis Davis; and sister: Virginia Kekoa. A Remembrance Mass will be held at Saint Dominic Catholic Church (Date TBD).
