Larry "Jim" Williams, 79, of Troy, Missouri, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born December 5, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri, died Friday, December 1, 2023 at NHC Healthcare in St. Charles, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family. Jim was retired from Marquette Tool and Die in St. Louis, MO. He was a member of the IMA Local 1345 of St. Louis, MO. He loved music and loved to sing. He also enjoyed playing poker. Jim was very proud of his Native American Heritage. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams, nee Rarden; his first wife (mother of his children), Katie Williams, nee Jundt; his second his parents, Joseph and Thelma, nee Bedwell, Williams; a grandson, Timothy Johnson; a brother, John Williams. Surviving are his children, James Williams of St. Louis, MO, Anthony (Elaine) Williams of Godfrey, IL, Scott (Lisa) Williams of St Charles, MO, and Melissa (Kevin) Johnson of Troy, MO; a sister, JoAnn Williams of Hemmett, CA; seven grandchildren, Shawn (Ashley) Johnson, Tony (Amanda) Williams, Amanda (Adam) Parkus, Tara (Zach) Williams, Austin (Bre) Williams, Ashley Williams and Brett Johnson; and 15 great grandchildren. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Friends may visit from 4:00 to 8:00 p. m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Braun Family Funeral Home, Columbia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Friday, December 15, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois. Daniel Alan Bilgere passed away on Monday December 4, 2023, at the age of 70 years. Survived by beloved wife Regina Bilgere, nee Tidwell; cherished children, daughter Trista (Pat) Bilgere and son Jason (Melanie) Bilgere; precious grandchildren Sammantha (Brian) Kirkpatrick and Jacob Garrett; blessed great-grandchildren Aiden and Oliver Kirkpatrick; dear siblings, sister Karen (Louie) Ravetta and brother John (Glynda) Bilgere; many other relatives and friends. Dan is preceded in death by his parents, Nancee Raisch and John Bilgere. Dan’s career would eventually take him to work as a mechanic in the automotive industry, but his first job started when he was 9 years old as a paper boy before going his schooling took him to Bishop DuBourg High School. In his free time, Dan enjoyed hobbies like bowling, fishing, and working in his growing garden. In addition to his skills as a mechanic, he was also very handy when it came to fixing cars. Dan loved computers and eating a good plate of barbeque. He also had a love of covered bridges, miniature train sets, listening to the rain, and grandma’s Thanksgiving dressing. Most of all, though, Dan will be remembered for the way that he loved caring for his family and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be greatly missed. Kenneth "Kenny" E. Guffey, 66, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on December 2, 2023 at BJH in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born to Earl and Maryanne (Dees) Guffey on August 11, 1957 in East St. Louis, Illinois. He was the oldest of five children. Those left to cherish Kenny's memory are his beloved wife Terrye, children Danny (Heather), Brandy (Tim), 7 grandchildren, 4 siblings Bobby (Rhonda), Penny (Darrell), Terry (Bobbi), Kim (Rick), along with many other friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Kenny will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Kenny loved going to Home Depot and went there frequently. He enjoyed waving and smiling at the familiar faces that he saw on his visits. He was a talented musician with a deep appreciation for music, he especially enjoyed the guitar. Kenny was a devout man of Jesus who was dedicated to his faith. He played both the guitar and keyboard in a gospel band with his son. He was fond of Harleys and other motorcycles. Kenny had a love for animals and delighted in his pets. The Guffey family has had many dogs and cats over the years, which he has cherished and considered members of the family. He was always up for fun and entertainment with family and friends. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed his time with family. Kenny was truly one of a kind and had a calming presence about him that will be dearly missed. Services will be held at Herr Funeral Home, 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, Illinois on Monday, December 11, 2023, with a viewing from 11:00 a. m. to 1:00 p. m. and the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p. m.
