Desiree Knittle

Desiree Knittle

Age - 41

November 10, 2023

Desiree' "Desi" Andrea Knittle, age 41, passed away unexpectedly Oct. 25th, 2023, after succumbing to injuries caused by a tragic accident. Desiree' was born Feb. 5th, 1982, in Tucson, Arizona, to Marvin "Tony" Eugene Knittle and Gertraud "Trudy" Knittle. Desiree' grew up with her family primarily in what was once known as a small farming community. Desi took her first steps while living in "Historic" Canoa Ranch. Our family then lived in Continental, AZ. , for a brief time before moving to Sahuarita, AZ. Desiree' stayed living in Sahuarita for most of her young life, where she went to school. Desiree' was full of life. Desiree' always loved openly and fully. She loved people, her family, friends, animals, nature, the mountains, lakes, the ocean, the desert rain, and the Arizona monsoons. Desiree' always loved to be outdoors but, when out there, preferred to be in the mountains. Desiree' met her first husband, Cory Halbert, in Tucson, AZ. Soon after they wed, they left to begin a new adventure in the mountains of Colorado. It was also there that her life seemed to change, becoming somewhat of a constant battle. But she was always strong willed, much like our mother and father, and always kept fighting to climb back up. Unfortunately, the sudden death of our father did not help. While living in Colorado, Desiree' gave birth to two beautiful girls. Daesha "Desert" Star Halbert, was born on July 10th, 2003, and September Sky Halbert, was born September 10th, 2004, in Montrose, CO. Desiree loved her daughters more than anything and was a good, and loving, mom, but difficult times caused Desiree' and Cory to be unable to fully provide for their daughters. Though driven apart by life, always hoped that one day they would all be reunited. Desiree' and Cory's relationship also came to an end despite us knowing that Cory still loved her. Eventually Desiree' moved back home to Sahuarita, Az. Early on, Desiree' worked in the Farmer's Investment Company's (FICO) Pecan Factory. She also spent time working as a cashier and as a server. For a brief time, Desiree' even worked at one of Idaho's potato factories. Aside from these jobs held, Desi also helped a lot with taking care of our grandparents' Wesner. Desiree' also liked to ride along with our father, to spend time with him and to help him, when he was working security for FICO "Farmer's Investment Company. " Desiree' met Randy Rudolph in Tucson, AZ. Desiree' and Randy became great friends. After several months, their friendship turned into something more. Eventually, they too moved out of Arizona and into Idaho. They lived in Idaho, together in the towns of Rupert, Declo and Malta. Trystan Clay Rudolph Knittle was born to Desiree' and Randy on Aug. 11th, 2014, in Burley, Idaho. Desiree' did not have many friends in Idaho and she often felt alone and bored, but Desi was continuing to make more friends every chance she got. Desi was excited any-time she spoke of Randy and the outdoor excursions they would go on. Whether it be camping, fishing, or riding 4-wheelers. Desiree' also loved music, a bit of everything, but mostly rock, country and all of our moms' oldies but goodies. Desi also enjoyed watching all the old classic movies we grew up watching with our mom. Desi was filled with joy every time she would speak of her son Trystan and truly proud of all the things she was working on and changes she was making in their home. Desi was excited and looking forward to an upcoming trip to South Carolina to visit with family. Desi had so much to look forward to in life. Desiree' was preceded in death by her grandparents Benjamin and Josephine Wesner of Marana, AZ. , her grandmother "Oma" Hildegard "Hilde" Hudson of Lead, SD. , her Father Marvin "Tony" E Knittle and mother Gertraud "Trudy" Knittle of Sahuarita, AZ. , as well as a few aunts and uncles. Desiree' has left so many loved ones behind. She is survived by her grandfather "Opa," Billey Gene Hudson, Aunt Kathy E Luze, her cousin Amanda G Morrison of Lead, SD. , and her cousin Miranda M Luze of Spearfish, SD. , Aunt Carol J Mair of Sun City West, AZ. , Cousin Tiffany Mair Panzarella of Centennial, CO. , her brother Tony D Knittle of Oklahoma City, OK. , Nephew Benjamin J Knittle of Omaha NE. , Niece Melanie R Woods of Sacramento, CA. , Niece Lisa K Wood of Ft Worth, TX. , Nephew Mark E Knittle of Bellvue, CO. , Niece Tawnia K Irwin of Fort Collins, CO. , Brother Sean D Hudson of Tucson, AZ. , Niece Jennifer F Groves of Waukesha, WI. , Sister Tamara "Tammy" K Knittle. , Niece Alyssa B Roberson, Nephew Brayden A Stevens of Irmo, SC. She left behind too many cousins to name. Desiree' also leaves behind her long-term partner Randy Rudolph, their son Trystan C Rudolph Knittle of Malta, ID. , and her two daughters Daesha "Desert" S Halbert and September S Halbert of Olathe, CO. Then there are many friends that are left behind, as well as friends that have become much more than friends, they are family. Sunny J Marker Bailey of Tucson, AZ. has always been a sister to her. I am sure there are many more that I could name. Desiree' was loved by so many, friends and family alike. Desiree' loved every person that came into her life. No-one was a stranger to her.
