Rannette Jo Baker, age 65, passed away on Sunday June 19, 2022. She was born on October 25, 1956 to Homer and Lynnette “Jean” (Hawks) Baker in Muskegon. A lifelong resident of the area, Rannette worked at Johnson Control, Inc, retiring in 2016. Rannette enjoyed spending her time tubing, collecting porcelain dolls and working in her yard, especially riding her lawnmower. She had a special place in her heart for cats her whole life and always wanted to adopt any strays she came across. Rannette could also be found joyriding around town and loved the memories of her and her mom driving down by lake. Rannette was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Jean; and brother, Earl Baker. She is survived by her sister, Theresa (Joe) Hicks; and special friends, Julian and Maria Espinoza. A Graveside Service will be held 10:00AM, Wednesday, June 22 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, 2188 Remembrance Dr. , Muskegon, 49442.
