Randy James Ritchie,67, of Newport departed this life on September 10, 2023. He was born in Newport on October 31, 1955, to O. S. Ritchie Sr. and Dorothy (Cale) Ritchie. Randy was of the Christian belief. He enjoyed being out in nature and could often be found target practicing or fishing his favorite fishing hole. He also loved watching westerns on television. He was also an avid Nascar fan and enjoyed watching Nascar races. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Andy Ritchie and O. S. (Junior) Ritchie Jr. He is survived by his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Daniels of Bradford and Angie Fox of Newport; his stepson Christopher Riggs (Brandi) of Southside; his sisters, Donna Mabry of Newport, Dottie Tinsley (Rusty) of Cabot and Jennifer Drummond of Newport; his nieces, Dawn Lucas (Steven) of Newport and Caitlyn Guzman (Luis) of Batesville; his great nephews, Jackson Mott-Lucas and Keeton Lucas; great nieces, Sofia Guzman and Miliana Guzman; several grandchildren and special friend, Crystal Honey. James "Bozo" Winfred Williford, 86, of Rosie, peacefully transitioned on November 26, 2023. Born on October 22, 1937, to Raymond and Unia (Western) Williford. James found solace in farming, cattle, and the melodies of his guitar and singing. An Independence County Sheriff's deputy for several years under Sheriff Walker Wood, he served his community with dedication. James also had a passion for auto racing. Yet, the true joy of his life lay in the embrace of family, creating cherished moments that will forever resonate. James Winfred Williford's legacy is one of hard work, community service, and the enduring love he shared with those closest to him. His memory lives on in the echoes of his music and the warmth of family bonds. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Patricia Williford; his son, Tim Williford; his daughter, Teresa Williford; his grandson, Colton Williford; his brothers, Lamon Ray Williford, Willis Ray Williford, and Edgar Williford; his sister, Katherine Ball. He is survived by his sons, Jimmy (Cindy) Williford of Oil Trough and Andy (Christy) Williford of Rosie; his sisters, Marjorie Cline of Witchita, Kansas; his grandchildren, Marty (Ashley) Williford, Kyle (Nancy) Williford, Jesse (Stephanie) Williford, Amber (Marlin) Dotson, Bryson (Katelyn) Williford, Heather(Chad) Connell and Tracy Bellingrath; his great-grandchildren, Regan Dotson, Marlin Dotson, Sawyer Williford, Rylan Williford, Hayden Williford, Myles Williford, Malachai Strong, Serenity Sockey, Kolten Cox, and Zaiden Barnes. Mr. James "Sonny" Wayne LeFlore of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born August 13, 1942 in Weiner, the son of Jesse James and Frances Ellen (Raines) LeFlore. Mr. LeFlore was a 1960 graduate of Newport High School, and a United States Air Force veteran. He worked in maintenance many years for TWH Enterprises, until his retirement. Mr. LeFlore was proud to be a member of the Choctaw Tribe. He enjoyed woodworking and was quite talented. Mr. LeFlore loved his family, and especially adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Turner) LeFlore; one brother, Gary LeFlore; two sisters, Love Joyce Schuster and Janice Moldan; and his parents. Mr. LeFlore is survived by his step-son, Roger Faust and wife, Nuray of Newport; three daughters, Tammy Wood and husband, Chris of Cord, Crystal Candler and husband, Ty of North Little Rock, and Angela Cissell and husband, Judd, of Newport; seven grandchildren, Natasha Faust, Roger Faust, III, Bo Hutchinson, Ty Faust, Hunter Wood, Grace Hutchinson, Macey Faust, and David Cissell; four great-grandchildren, Tizinia, Sophia, Blize, and Ella. . . as well as one on the way; two brothers, Guy LeFlore and wife, Donna, of Jonesboro, and Ernest "Butch" LeFlore of Little Rock; a host of nieces, nephews, and family; and a lifetime of friends. Mrs. Bobbie Sue (Ireland) Pulliam of Newport, Arkansas, departed this life on Monday, November 6, 2023, at the age of 80. She was born July 15, 1943, in Newport, Arkansas. Bobbie grew up in both Beedeville and Newport. She was a 1961 graduate of Newport High School. On April 5, 1963, Miss Bobbie Sue Ireland married Mr. Shelly Gray Pulliam and together they spent 45 years, raising their children in a loving, Christian home and being active and devoted members of the Holden Avenue Church of Christ. Known by many as "Miss Bobbie" she spent many years caring for children in her home. The children always loved her and she loved them in return. Bobbie was a consummate homemaker and held a license in Interior Design and worked as a Real Estate agent. Bobbie loved the outdoors, she enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She also enjoyed cooking and canning the vegetables she grew herself. Bobbie throughly enjoyed yard sales, flea marketing, and loved fishing. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Holden Avenue Church of Christ, where she taught the 2-year-old class for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Caring Sisters. She volunteered her time at Camp Takhodah and worked with the Paragould Children's Home, caring for clothing for the children. Bobbie will be forever remembered for her love of children, making people comfortable and her welcoming spirit. Mrs. Pulliam was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Shelly Gray Pulliam; her father, F. A. "Frank" Ireland; her mother, Ida (Lambert) Buchanan; her step-mother, Arlene Ireland; two half-brothers, Jerry and Denver Ireland; one half-sister, Jean Willard. She is survived by one son, Jon Pulliam of Conway; one daughter, Cindy Gates and husband, Freddy of Newport; one grandchild, Grey Pulliam; one sister, Linda Dunham of Weiner; three half-brothers, Jeffrey W. Ireland of Girard, Pennsylvania, Roger Birdsong of Newport, and Phil Birdsong of Jackson County; one brother-in-law, Randale Willard; one sister-in-law, Deloris Honey of Algoa; her special friend, Alfred Couch of Newport; close friend, Maude Hinkle of Newport; her loving caregivers, Verneal Hodge, Lynn Clinkscales, Jeanette Flowers, Linda Eskew, and Rhonda Cantrell; several nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. She was born December 8, 1945 in Augusta, the daughter of Walter and Hazel (Fortune) Camp. Mrs. Baumgarner was a hard worker, who spent many years working the family farm alongside her husband, Leroy. During those years, she also worked outside of the home at the Augusta shirt factory, and as an Avon Representative. Mrs. Baumgarner enjoyed fishing, and growing flowers in her yard. She was a talented painter of portraits and landscapes. Mrs. Baumgarner was preceded in death by one daughter, Tammy Baumgarner Dewhitt; and her parents. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leroy Roger Baumgarner of the home; one son, Keith Baumgarner of Newport; one daughter, Deborah Price of Newport; one step-son, Ricky Howe of Corpus Christie, Texas; four grandchildren, Chelsea Howe, Kenny Mann, Chris Baumgarner, and Justin Baumgarner; seven great-grandchildren, Skylar, Sidney, Isabella, Leigon, Riley, Ederald, and Brayden Hatley; two sisters, Sherry Lemke of Fayetteville, and Kathy Camp of Augusta; and a lifetime of friends. She was born November 5, 1938, in Tuckerman, the daughter of Walter Wallace and Mamie (Sornson) Bailey. Mrs. Pankey was a high school graduate of Tuckerman. She married Mr. Wallace Pankey in 1974. Mrs. Pankey was a retired local business owner, working alongside with her husband. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Most of all, Mrs. Pankey loved being a Mom and Maw Maw, and cherished spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Pankey; one son, James "Hobo" Canard; one daughter, Barbara Canard; one brother, James Bailey; and her parents.
