She was born on April 20, 1970, in Hagerstown, MD to Joseph Earl Goetz of Knoxville, MD and the late Patricia Ann (Sagle) Goetz. She was a Christian and when she was able, she attended Mt. Cavalry Tabernacle in Greencastle, PA and an active member of the Joyful Servants Ministry Organization in Mercersburg, PA. Bonnie was employed as a waitress and was later employed as a pilot car driver for tractor trailers. She enjoyed crafting, going to the beach, and spending time with her cats and her granddog, Penelope. She is survived by 2 daughters Brittani Forsythe and her husband Paul of Williamsport, MD and Madison Dorsey of Silver Spring, MD; sisters Donna White and her husband Kenny of Brunswick, MD; Sherry Hammersla and her husband Donnie of Sharpsburg, MD and Robin Thomas and her husband Kent of Sharpsburg, MD; grandchildren Luke and Caleb Forsythe; 4 nieces, numerous other great nieces and great nephews, and her best friend of 41 years Kelly Wissinger. Besides her mother, she is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Mary and Harry Sagle, paternal grandparents Virginia and Floyd Goetz, and great niece Sylvia Kretzer. At this time there will be no services. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Walter was born on August 11, 1936, in Frostburg, MD to the late Walter Forrest Sr., and Marie Antoinette (Walsh) Clark. He was a 1954 graduate of Hagerstown High School before receiving his associate degree in business from Hagerstown Junior College. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as Military Police. He was of the Protestant faith. Walter was employed by the State of Maryland as a financial advisor until his retirement. He was a former member of ABC (Associate Builders and Contractors) and the Waynesboro Country Club. He was an incredible cook, a wine connoisseur and an avid golfer. Walter is survived by his loving wife of over 64 years C. Marlene (Cutsail) Clark whom he married on December 26, 1959; daughter Susan (Clark) Buchanan and husband John; granddaughter Jessica (Buchanan) Koontz and husband Kevin; grandson Jordan Buchanan; great grandchildren Mason Koontz and Aubrey Koontz. Tina Marie Evans, 60, of Greencastle, PA, passed away Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.Born August 28, 1963 in Chambersburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Marvin E. Robinson and Phyllis Irene (White) Kauffman.Tina had a wonderful heart and was a great support to her husband. She always called or sent cards on everyone’s birthdays.She was a caregiver to all and had a compliment for everyone. She never met a stranger that didn’t become a friend.Tina is survived by her husband of 38 years, John Evans; her daughter, Casey Marie Evans; two brothers, Anthony Robinson and wife, Terry, and Duane Robinson and wife, Jennifer; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.The funeral will be held at 5pm on Friday, February 23, 2024, at New Life Christian Ministries, 12031 Hopewell Rd, Hagerstown, MD. He had been there for the last two years but has been a diesel mechanic working in various shops since he was 18 years old.He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Roger enjoyed the sport of Nascar and although he had no particular or favorite driver, he was partial to all Ford makes of cars and had a special liking for Joey Lagano. She was a loving, caring, devoted mother and grandmother who always sacrificed for her family without hesitation, always doing her best. She was born on January 4, 1934, in Hancock, MD to the late Marvin Clayton Mason and Marie Virginia Ingram McCarty. Elva was a 1951 graduate of Hancock High School Hancock, MD. She attended Columbia Business Hagerstown, MD. She was employed as a Manager with Huff Liquors in Clear Spring, MD until her retirement. She was the first employee of Goodwill Industries of Hagerstown, MD in 1956 as a secretary. She previously worked at Weaver’s Restaurant in Hancock, MD, Joseph C. Herbert American Legion Post #222 Clear Spring, Clear Spring Restaurant and East End Tavern both in Clear Spring, MD. She most recently attended Faith Christian Fellowship Williamsport, MD. Elva enjoyed life, singing, dancing, laughing and being her ornery self, making others happy. She loved smiling, showing off her dimples. Taking care of her family was her greatest achievement. She loved her daughter, granddaughter, and great granddaughter more than words can say. She was so proud they all shared her middle name of Marie. She is survived by her daughter Vikki M. Fox and her husband Rusty who she thought of as a son of Williamsport, MD; granddaughter Amy M. Merritt and her husband Alexander and great granddaughter Elliana M. Merritt of Westminster, MD. Gerald E. Bivens, 86, of McConnellsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, February 15th, at Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD. Gerald was born in Chambersburg, Pa on August 26, 1937, a son of the late Ida Elizabeth (Laidig) and Horace C. Bivens. He was the husband of Mary A. (Paylor) Bivens, who he married on August 10, 1963. Gerald was a dairy farmer throughout his life, living and working on the same farm since he was four years old. He took great pride in everything he did, especially how the farm looked and he enjoyed tinkering on his old tractors. He was a past member of the Fulton County Farm Bureau and a past Director of the Union Cemetery Association. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Barry E. Bivens, of McConnellsburg, PA and daughter Lisa A. (wife of Ty) Daniels, of McConnellsburg, PA. He is also survived by two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
