We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our son, David "Day Day" Taylor. David "Day Day" James Taylor, 31, of Belvidere, IL, passed away suddenly on December 2, 2023. Born on February 18, 1992 in Elgin, IL, the son of Robin Khalar and Robert Taylor. David grew up in Carpentersville, and then Belvidere. He was a deeply dedicated father, and loved the quality time spent with his children. He was an avid music lover, and had an extensive hat and shoe collection. David attended WyoTech college and studied automotive technology, he found great fulfillment however at his maintenance position at Symphony Maplecrest and Northwoods, he enjoyed the work and the relationships made with the residents there. He enjoyed fishing and cooking, and above all his family and close friends. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his sons, Aayden James Taylor (Aleksy McConnell), Ryder James Taylor (Kayla Hughes and Enzo Camacho); his daughter soon to be born, Lyla Lynn Worley (Samantha Worley and Ryah), his mother, Robin (Tony Smith) Khalar; father, Robert (Heather Sams) Taylor; brother, Kevin (Brittany Komperda) Lee Taylor; niece, Braelynn Savannah Taylor; maternal grandmother, Frances Khalar, paternal grandfather, James Taylor Sr. ; paternal grandmother, Lupe (Robert) Quibrerra; paternal uncles, Jim (Melissa) Taylor, Ricky Taylor, and Randy (Karen) Taylor, paternal aunts, Elizabeth Smith and Linda (Patrick) Clifford; paternal cousins, Alexis, Sierra, Natalie, Adam, Logan, Breanna, Zoey, Kylee, and Kyla. He is also survived by extended family members and close friends, Mark, Courtney, Sara and Malorie Fahey, Cody Moore, Matt Arnott, Alex and Tyler Fahey, Justin Rednour, and cousin William Roman, (who was more like an uncle. ) He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Papa Dave Khalar; paternal uncle Elbert Taylor; dear friend, Kelly Moore, and maternal great-grandparents, Tom and Wanieta, and maternal aunt, Colleen Summers. David's memorial visitation will be Sunday, December 10, between the hours of 2-4pm at Anderson Funeral Home. Located at 218 W. Hurlbut Ave. Belvidere, IL 61008.Show more
