Ralph Burkart Obituary

Ralph R. Burkart, 81, of Montgomery, IL passed away on April 24, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born on October 31, 1941 in Aurora, IL the son of Walter and Rose (Schumacher) Burkart. Ralph was a deeply devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He had a deep love for serving God and enjoyed the mountains and his annual trip to Montana. He is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Rosalie (Rose); daughters, Karen (Mike) Schien, Kimberly (Michael) O'Malley and Kathy Jurasek; grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Hertz, Jacob (Amanda) Schien, Joshua (Fiance Kiara Yeatman) Schien, Amy (Dean) Griffing, Joseph (Amy Martin) O'Malley, SarahAnn (Joshua) Payne and Madelynn and Sofia Jurasek; great-grandchildren George Griffing and baby Hertz on the way. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary (David) Chrestensen, many In-Laws, nieces, nephews and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. All services will be private.
