Rachael Antell Obituary

Age - 24
April 24, 2023
Saint Paul, MN
Age 24, of St. Louis Park, began her journey to the spirit world on April 20, 2023. Rachael was a loving, cheerful, beautiful (and yes- stubborn) daughter, sister, auntie, friend, and partner who left us way too soon. Her giggle was infectious and our hearts are broken to know we will only feel her in our dreams. She loved animals and they loved her, especially her cats Beau, Barrymore, and Bailey, dog Lupin and crested gecko Dart. She loved serving others and was an amazing barista. Rachael was a fighter and did an amazing job tapering off medications and was beginning to live her life to the fullest. But, the overpowering pull of addiction was too much for her little body. Rest easy beautiful girl and we will meet again. She is preceded by her grandmother, Mary Lou Antell; and uncles, David Pfannenstein, Dan Southard and Ron Antell. Survived by father, Rich (Juliet) Antell; mother, Sarah Strong; grandparents, Will Antell (fiance Mary Jo Reiter), Chuck and Joan Pfannenstein; brother, Travis Bartz (partner Sarah Fraser); sister, Angela Antell (partner Jake Howley); niece, Maddison; aunties, Vicki (Jim) Selmecki, Ann Southard and Shari Pfannenstein; cousins, Abbie and Joe Selmecki; and many other close family and friends. Rachael was of Anishinaabe descent and was learning to honor that heritage. The spirits recognize her as Mino Miigwanikwe (Good Feather Woman) and that is how we will honor her sendoff to the Spirit world. Visitation held for Rachael from 4-6PM, Tuesday, April 25, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center (2800 Curve Crest Blvd. Stillwater). An Anishanaabe Sundown ceremony will follow the visitation. Traditional Anishinaabe Ceremony at 10AM, Wednesday, April 26, at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center (2800 Curve Crest Blvd. Stillwater). Interment at Fairview Cemetery, Stillwater. In lieu of flowers, plants and memorials to family preferred. To to the family or in memory of Rachael Lynn (Mino Miigwanikwe) Antell, please
