Priscilla Thomason Brown was born on October 7, 1926 and pass away on September 12, 2023. She was the second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. T. Herbert Thomason of Forth Worth, Texas. She attended Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B. A. in Government. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. Priscilla married Barton Brown of Sea Cliff, New York. Her husband 's career took the couple to Europe, where their first daughter was born. Their second daughter was born in the US, after which the family returned to Europe for several more years. Priscilla happily adjusted to each new home, studying the local language, hosting visitors, and planning family trips around Europe. When Priscilla and her family returned to the US, first to New York and then Michigan, she became an active volunteer. She focused on politics and early childhood daycare while in New York and, after the move to Michigan at the Detroit Institute of Arts. After her husband's retirement the couple moved to Austin, Texas where Priscilla enjoyed reconnecting with friends from her college days and from her hometown of Fort Worth. Her volunteer work in Austin included serving as a docent at the Texas Governor's Mansion and she became an active member of The National Society of Colonial Dames of America (NSCDA). After her husband's death, Priscilla moved to Houston, Texas where she remained active in the NSCDA. She also continued to travel in the US and overseas. She joined St. Paul's United Methodist Church and was for many years a loyal member of the Special Studies discussion group. Priscilla is survived by her daughters, Barbara and Suzanne, grandchildren Alec, William, Charlotte and Benjamin, and great-grandson Owen. Dolores J. Adlong, affectionately known as "Dodie" to her family and friends, peacefully departed to be with her heavenly father on Thursday, November 23, 2023. Born on September 24, 1936, in Houston, Texas, Dolores led a life rich in love, service, and cherished moments. Dolores is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Ray Adlong, her father Maurice "Mow" Williamson, her mother Clara Lillian (Davis) Williamson, and her brother-in-law Benjamin "Ben" Brymer. The legacy she leaves behind is one of unwavering dedication to family, faith, and community. Dolores worked for the Houston Fire Department as a civilian employee for 20 years, where she also played an active role in the Ladies Fire Auxiliary. Her commitment to public service extended beyond the workplace, as she dedicated her time serving as a Eucharist Minister bringing Holy Communion to the homebound. Dolores's kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, making her an integral part of her community. A devout Catholic, Dolores found solace and purpose in her faith, exemplifying its teachings through her selfless acts of kindness. She was a beacon of light, bringing comfort and support to those in need. Outside of her professional and community endeavors, Dolores found joy in simple pleasures. She had a passion for cooking and gardening, turning everyday moments into beautiful memories. Her love for the Texas Hill Country was evident in her family's hunting traditions, where she relished spending quality time surrounded by the ones she held dear. Dolores is survived by her daughter Marisa Searle and husband Kameron of Katy, Texas; her sister Jeanette Brymer of Houston, Texas; her nephew Michael Brymer and wife Tanya of Kingwood, TX; her niece Benette Schreiber and husband Allen of Houston, Texas. Dolores also had four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren Kayla Cessac and husband Rocko, along with their children Lilly and Owen, of Katy, TX; Jennifer Reznik and husband Jacob of Katy, TX; Kary Searle-Crewe and husband Colin of Lawrence, Kansas; John Searle of Katy, Texas. As well as many friends and loved ones. As we bid farewell to Dolores, let us remember the warmth of her smile, the kindness in her heart, and the enduring legacy of love she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones in the embrace of her heavenly father. A funeral service for Dolores will be held Monday, December 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, 7810 Cypresswood Dr, Spring, TX 77379. Clyde Bustamento, age 88, of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023. Join us for a Celebration of Life service for Clyde Bustamento to be held Monday, December 11, 2023. Visitation at 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Burial to follow. Clyde is preceded in death by his loving wife Reba, parents Reuben and Adeline Bustamento, son Mike Bustamento, sisters Thelma Lawson and Rosalie Dooley and his Uncle James. Clyde is survived by his children; Chida and Mike Vickery, Mary Butler, Jenny and Roger Stevens, Sandy Bustamento, Willie and Johanna Bustamento, Tommy and Dayna Bustamento. 14 Grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; Aunts: Berta Veuleman and Jeanette Coltson, Vilma & Wilma. Numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Clyde and Reba opened Clyde's Woodturning Shop in the garages behind their house in 1960 and later opened "The Shop" in 1966. The Shop became a family affair as everyone in the family worked there over the many years! If you dropped by The Shop Clyde would take the time to visit with you and usually the Astros game was on the radio or TV. Hunting and fishing were always a favorite time with family at the country. And many will remember their yearly Anniversary and Christmas parties. Those were always a favorite of Clyde and Reba to celebrate their life with family and friends and dance the night away! And they also loved to play poker with his aunts, uncles and cousins. After 47 years in business Clyde and Reba retired to spend more time traveling to their beloved country and Many to tend to his cows and cut the grass. After Reba passed, Clyde loved spending time with his kids, watching all his westerns; Gunsmoke was his favorite, enjoying eating his beloved ice cream and cake and sitting outside on the porch enjoying the weather. Clyde was a loving father and we will be miss him dearly! Our deepest thanks to Bertha Walkoviak, Lumina Care Hospice team Keri, Leslie, Joy, Yolanda and Chaplain Richard for their wonderful care!
