"Prashant Piwalatkar, a loving son, brother, caring husband, father, and lively friend to many, passed away on May 6, 2023. He is survived by his life partner Sheetal, his sons Prabhanjan and Pradyumna in the US, and his parents and three sisters in India. Prashant was born in Nagpur to a simple family and was raised with great values. His early childhood and growing up focused on educating himself and taking care of his family. Being the eldest son among four siblings, he took it upon himself to support his parents in raising their whole family. Prashant did his B. E. from COEP, Pune, in 1994 and quickly managed to deploy his talents in engineering and sales. He was a great friend and advisor to many, especially because of his curiosity, broad reading, and in-depth knowledge on various topics. He courted for 2 years with the love of his life, Sheetal. And finally, when he was done with his commitments to his family, he got into his commitment to Sheetal. They married in 1998 and have been blessed with two loving sons, both raised with great values. Starting in 2011-Prashant made the United States his Karma Bhoomi. He always had the fire in his belly, a can-do attitude, and the ability to learn and adapt to transform himself and shoot for the next frontier in life. He worked for several global technology firms, like Accenture and Infosys. His work took him to several US cities, and he built a strong network of friends everywhere he lived before making Greensboro his home. Prashant was a man of many tastes and interests that he acquired along the way, yet he somehow kept in touch with his roots, his old friends, and his small town values. That kept him grounded and humble, and now we see that legacy continued in the conduct of his sons. He was an avid sportsperson; he played tennis and ran marathons, and he encouraged others to stay fit. An always well dressed and crisp-looking gentleman. Prashant's charisma and simplicity will be missed. His family is grateful and wishes to thank all those who have been helping deal with this shock. || lokaaH smstaaH sukhino bhvntu || \u0026quot;MAY ALL BEINGS EVERYWHERE BE HAPPY AND FREE, AND MAY THE THOUGHTS, WORDS, AND ACTIONS OF MY OWN LIFE CONTRIBUTE IN SOME WAY TO THAT HAPPINESS AND TO THAT FREEDOM FOR ALL. \u0026quot;"
