Pollie Ann Walton, age 95, of Danville, VA passed away, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Piney Forest Health and Rehab. She was born March 20, 1925 in Pittsylvania County, VA to the late Thomas Hereford and the late Ruth Jane Wilson Hereford. Pollie was married to the late LeRoy Walton. She was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Walton is survived by two sisters, Carolyn Hereford and Maudenia Makins both of Washington, DC; a brother Harvey Hereford of Danville, VA; a granddaughter Cynthia Walton, two grandchildren, Kingston James Walton Hudson and Jasmyn Faith Douglas, a special niece, Lola Harper-Clyburn, six other Nieces and one Nephew, as well as a host of other family members. Mrs. Walton was predeceased in death by one son, Troy L. Walton. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 27, 2019, at 12:00pm at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1649 Mill Creek Rd., Danville, VA 24540, Interment to Follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive Friends on Friday night April 26, 2019 from 6:30-7:30pm at Norris West End Chapel, and at other times at the residence.
