Pinkney passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at NorthCare Hospice with his loving family by his side. Bernadette "Bernie" Helen Moning, 89, of Parkville, MO passed away peacefully Sunday, November 19, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospice in Kansas City, MO. Bernadette was born February 9, 1934 to William and Elizabeth "Elsie" (Gutzwiller) Walter in Cincinnati, Ohio. Bernadette is survived by her three children: Russell (Colleen); Judy (Judy); Linda (John); four grandchildren: Jesse, Aaron, Jason and Lauren; and several great-grandchildren; three siblings: Rose Mary "Rosie," Agnes and James. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Moning, both of her parents William and Elsie, three siblings: Raymond, Irene and Lawrence. Mrs. Moning was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and was active in the St. Vincent dePaul Society. Nelda Jean Muldoon, 82, of Parkville, Missouri joined her parents and daughter in heaven on Friday November 10, 2023. Nelda was born April 2, 1941 in Athens, Texas and grew up in Portales, New Mexico to Pleas and Elizabeth (Jones) Powers. For many years Nelda was a stay at home mom to her five children going to work later in life as an Environmental Services Supervisor with the Hilton and Hyatt Hotel Chains. She had a kind, loving nature who enjoyed doing craft projects, working on puzzles, reading books especially true crime novels and spending time with her neighbors. Nelda was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Lisa Hirsch. Survivors include her three daughters, Glenda Hoffman, Carla J. Lewis, and Karen (Bennie) Lakey; a son, Randy Mutch; brothers, LeeRoy Powers, Jerry Powers, Glyn Powers, and Donnie Powers; sister, Shirley Heyer; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.Show more

Doc was born January 17, 1956 to Harold and Sara (Morrison) Dockler in Standford, North Carolina. Doc is survived by his wife of 39 years, Tyba Dockler; children: Richard Dockler (Kelsey); Michael Dockler; Sarah Barges (Chuck) and Derik Dockler; eight grandchildren: CJ; Sammy; Michael; Shelby; Bentley; Easton; Kinsley and Kyla; and a brother, Frankly Cole. Memories of Pinkney and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel. com Pinkney "Pink" William Newell, 71, joined the Lord, surrounded by his loved ones after a long, brave battle with Parkinson's Disease on October 6, 2023. Pinkney was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to P. J. and Marjorie Newell. He graduated from Jefferson City High School, He then attended Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State), University of Missouri, Columbia and Georgia Tech University culminating in bachelors, masters and specialist degrees in education. He taught math in Ashland and Ritenhour school districts and was a high school counselor in Jefferson City before working with the Missouri Department of Education, eventually becoming a regional director for Social Security Disability.Show more

Barbara "Bobbye" Kay Wiesler, 73, of Parkville, MO, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Bobbye was born September 14, 1950, to Jim and Jean (Davidson) Sharp in St. Louis, MO. Bobbye was an avid reader, she enjoyed making jewelry, visiting the beach and traveling with family and friends. She loved all her grandchildren dearly and always made time to attend their extra-curricular activities. She could often be found enjoying her grandchildren's sporting events, band concerts and everything in between. She will be remembered for her love of family, dear friends and zest for life. Bobbye is survived by her four daughters and their families: Jessica DiBernardo (Michael) and their children: Ryan, Kyle, Megan and Dillon; Heather Wiesler and her children: Myles and Kayla; Jennifer Stout (Nathan) and their children: Madelyn, Grant, Zachary and Benjamin; Lauren Kelly (Kevin) and their children: Ross and Ian. Bobbye is also survived by three of her dear friends: Maureen, Pam and Moe. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Jean Sharp. A casual celebration of Bobbye's life will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023. The Meyers Northland Chapel website will be updated with time and location as soon as her service is finalized.
