Philip M. Clapsadl, 77, of Fairfield, PA died Sunday morning January 27, 2019 at the Gettysburg Hospital. Born December 14, 1941 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Kint) Clapsadl. He was the husband of Janice P. (Kadle) Clapsadl of Fairfield to whom he was married to for 57 years. He was a member of the Fairfield Amvets, the Waynesboro VFW, and the Gettysburg Fraternal Order of Eagles. In addition to his wife Phil is survived by his five children, Jean Theresa Rosenberry and her husband John, of Shippensburg, PA, Michael Anthony Clapsadl and his wife Janice, of Spencer, VA, Barbara Lynn McCullough and her husband Robert, of Orrtanna, PA, Patrick Philip Clapsadl and his girlfriend Betty White, of Fairfield, PA, Rose Brown and her husband Joshua, of Colorado Springs, CO, grandchildren, Angela Schaff, of Hagerstown, MD, Melanie Sanchez and her husband Jonathan, of Orlando, FL, Daryl Rosenberry and his wife Rosa, of Shippensburg, PA, Lakeisha Rosenberry, of Shippensburg, PA, Dakota Rosenberry, of Shippensburg, PA, Steven Wayne and his wife Lacey, of Gettysburg, PA, Wyatt Schultz, of Gettysburg, PA, Caz Cantrell, of Spencer, VA, Melissa Conner and her husband Bradley, of Check, VA, great grandchildren, Michael Siebert, III, Saul Siebert, Ethan Siebert, Emre Rosenberry, Preston Rosneberry, Blake Cantrell, Emmet Conner, Brody Conner, Asher Sanchez, Alessandra Sanchez, Aurora Clapsadl, sisters, Rose Miller, Jane Reed, Mary Kerby, Rita Shaffer, brother, Luke Clapsadl, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by son, Tony Francis Clapsadl, daughter, Wanda Sue Clay, grandson, Keith Allen Clapsadl, brothers, Pius Clapsadl, Patrick Clapsadl, Paul Clapsadl, and sister Ruth Ann Shultz. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Monahan Funeral Home 27 E. Main St., Fairfield, PA. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Fairfield, PA.
