SCOTT, Keith Thomas. . . Passed away peacefully on December 7, 2023 at the F. J. Davey Home at the age of 68 surrounded by his family. Beloved, protective and supportive father of Hayley and Shannen. Devoted father in law of Zach and Chris. Never forgotten by his grandsons Mason and Zaden. Predeceased by his father George, forever loved by his mother Myrna (nee Gavin). Ever remembered by his brother Don (Donna). Life long friend of Bernie. Keith will forever be missed by his nieces, nephews and friends. Keith was like a father to many. Keith retired from Bell Canada after 30+ years. He had a passion for the open road when he wasn't travelling for work he was out on his next adventure, riding one of the 17 Harleys that he had collected over the years. Keith held a special place in his heart for the family camp out on McCarrels Lake. His favourite memories involved his adventures out on the lake with his family and friends. He was able to continue the memories and raise his own family; spending hours taking all the kids out on adventures. Keith was taken early from this this world due to early onset Alzheimer's, even though this cruel disease stole his vibrant spirit, it did not lessen the impact he had on those around him. Keith lost his father, his best friend, almost two years to the day from Alzheimer's. This is a good reminder to cherish every moment with your loved ones. Recognizing that the quality of time together matters more than the quantity. The family would like to thank the staff from the Davey Home, especially Heather from 1 Birch Lane. They would also like to thank the nurses Phylicia and Nathan from 3C. In lieu of flowers memorial donations (made payable by cheque or online) to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated. Predeceased by her parents Harve Gelinas and Florentine Robillard, her siblings Rose-Aimee (Lucien), Isabelle, Diane, Henri (Claudette) and Eddie. Sister of Leo Paul. Sister-in-law of Gerald and Gilles. She will be missed by all her nieces, nephews and many friends. Rose-Marie was originally from Ramore, a small village near Matheson in Northern Ontario. She has always had an appreciation and an appetite for creativity. This interest stems from early childhood inspirations from nature, and from various experiences throughout her young life. Throughout the 60's, Rose-Marie experimented with a variety of mediums and styles. From large window paintings at the local senior's home to custom designed greeting cards, clothing design and even 30 years experience in cake design and decoration. Rose-Marie was no stranger to the art world. Moving on in life, Rose-Marie relocated from Ramore to Timmins, Ontario where she worked as a childcare worker, and then on to the Sault where she resided to this day. Art, for Rose-Marie, was more than just painting and drawing. Art encompassed a vast range of elements ranging from hairstyling, cake decorating, family caring and local involvement. Rose-Marie was involved in the Algoma Art Society, Le Centre Francophone and the Club de l'age d'or. "God's creation is so beautiful, and when I paint, I get wrapped up in my work and go into my own creative work to express my thoughts and feelings. " Rose-Marie was greatly inspired and aided by many local artists throughout her time, including Theresa Woodcock and Jeni Bourgois. Rose-Marie felt that painting was only a hobby, but her work clearly exemplified her love and fondness for creation and expression. To her family and friends she was known for her generosity and kindness. A memorial service will be held at Paroisse Sainte-Marie-du-Sault (847 Trunk Rd), on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 2 pm. Rev.
