A brother, Tim Houk and wife, Taylor and sister, Mary Grace Ellerbee and partner, Evan. Nieces, whom he adored, Tinley, Tatum and Tori Houk. Also left to cherish his memory are his aunts that held a special place in his heart. Joshua is preceded in death by his father, Jeb Houk and his grandparents, JT and El Maid Houk and Lester and Hazel Varnado. Joshua loved music and was a loving and caring person who will be greatly missed. Gwyn enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, going to the beach, and taking photos. She will be missed dearly by all those who knew and loved her. Gwyn is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Kenny, her son Dale, and daughter Leigh Anne Harrell with husband Juston, 2 grandchildren, Tommy Jase and Audrey Claire. Also survived by her brothers and sisters, Diane Tanner, Debbie Dunetz, Gary Burton and wife Maria, Tim Burton and wife Annette, and Chris Burton and wife Tonya; Father-in law Terry Carlin and Mother-in law Rene Carlin. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Odette Burton. Cremation is under the direction of Church’s Funeral and Crematory in Baton Rouge, LA with a private family and friends celebration of life to be held at a later date. Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

And was a 1975 graduate of French Settlement High School. Patsy worked for Mary Bird Perkins as an insurance specialist until 2016. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Patsy’s family was everything to her and nothing was more important to her than spending time with them.Patsy is preceded in death by her parents, Noel (Jack) Lobell and Frances Lobell Brown; sister, Loraine Lobell Long.She is survived by her husband, Al Guitreau; her children, Mandy Barnett (Butch) and Curtis Carter (Shelly); 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Marie Lobell Kohl (Paul).Visitation to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in French Settlement on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 9am – 11am. Mass will follow at 11am. Pallbearers are Scott Long, Brian Kohl, and grandsons Jeremy, Stephen, Bryson, and Ethan. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude.

He was born on November 9, 1958, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Howard Anthony Lege, Sr. and Barbara Goodwin Lege. He lived most of his life in New Orleans, moving to Baton Rouge five years ago. He worked as an electrician and was skilled in all trades including woodworking – Woody could fix or build anything!Woody was a devoted son and was dedicated to his mom. He never met a stranger, loved to cook and listen to all types of music, sharing his eclectic taste in music with his nieces and nephews. He was always the "cool" uncle. He also will be remembered as a prankster who loved to make people laugh. Woody is survived by his mother, Barbara Goodwin Lege; his sisters, Cindy Dolan and Dawn Pramik; his nephews and nieces, Ashley and Greg McCauley, Ryan Pramik, Kelsey and James Hurst, and Mason Dolan; and his great-niece, Aubrey and great-nephews, William, Declan and Louis.He is preceded by his father, Howard Anthony Lege, Sr.; his nephew, Ethan Dolan; and his brother-in-law, Bill Pramik.Relatives and close family friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge beginning at 1:30 p.m. until funeral services begin at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
