Peggy Ann Harris, 81, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 surrounded by family. She was born on October 10, 1940 in Chowan County, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her mother, Martha Lee Ward; and five siblings. Peggy was a member of Portsmouth Christian Church. She is survived by her three daughters, Peggy Harris Darden, Robin Harris Thorpe (Tom), and Heidi Renee Heady (Jason); brother, Hobson Ward; nine grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Olive Branch Cemetery by Pastor Tim Todd.
