"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. Proverbs 31:10 (KJV) Pearlie Davis Fitzgerald was born May 31, 1939 in Houston County to Ulyssee and Bessie Davis. She grew up in Henderson, Georgia and received her education in the public school system of Houston County. She was reared in a home where Christian values and love were the primary focus in her life. She was a member of Davis Chapel A. M. E. Church where she served faithfully until her health failed. She was a committed usher. She was an employee of the late William Jerles, DMD where she worked selfless for many years. Pearlie was united as one in the Lord to Wilbert Fitzgerald. She was a very devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a beautiful person inside out. She also had a heart of gold, giving, kind thoughts, deeds and expressions for everyone she met. To know her was to love her, as she knew no strangers. On Friday Morning, April 19, 2019, the Lord told His solider, "Well Done"' and called her home. We will miss her and we will never ever forget her warm, loving spirit. She was preceded in death by her parents Ulyssee and Bessie Davis, three sisters, Elvira Watkins, Thelma Lester, And Carrie Mae McGhee; four brothers, James Davis, Willie C. Davis, Willie L. Sandra, and Delma Davis. Cherished memories of her devotion will be shared by her husband, Wilbert Fitzgerald, Henderson, GA; sisters Essie Brooks, Sallie Chaney, and Beulah Smith, all of Henderson, GA; Alice Mae Vanalstyne and Evenly Hill, both of Rochester, NY; sister-in-laws, Ester Davis, Charlie Mae Davis and Henry M. Davis of Henderson, GA; Myrticu (Arthur) Adam, Atlanta, GA, Glory (Henry) Roger, Burnn, NC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Pearlie was indeed one of a kind. Godly in spirit and deed. May her earthly life find heavenly treasures.
