Pauline Brock Haley also known as "Mama Haley", age 84 of Seguin, passed away on September 9, 2023. Pauline was born on May 18, 1939, in Harlan, Kentucky to Lizzie (Helton) and Luther Brock of Garrard County, Kentucky. Pauline enjoyed sewing and embroidering; her gorgeous rosebushes, and other plants. Baking her delicious banana bread and mixing up her yummy turkey salad were favorites of hers. Pauline is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Harold Haley, her parents, her brothers, Emmett, Manuel, Otis Ray, and Doug Brock, and her sister, Violet Brock. Survivors include her daughters, Pam Sutton and husband Bart, and Lisa Haley; son, Christopher Haley; grandchildren, Kolin Sutton and Tessa Lenz, Sara Vogel and husband Zach, and Hunter Sutton and wife Kelly; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Charlotte, and Stevie Sutton; sister, Wanda Fay Litaker; brothers, George Brock and wife Ruby and Boyd Brock; sisters-in-law, Linda Brock and Mona Brock; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family member and many friends. Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at 9:30 a. m. followed by funeral services at 10:30 a. m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Reverend Jim Price officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Haley, Bart Sutton, Kolin Sutton, Hunter Sutton, and Zach Vogel. Teresa Jo Evans Schneider Kramer, age 76 of Seguin, passed away on November 30, 2023. Teresa was born on October 11, 1947, in San Marcos, Texas to Irene P. (Gotthardt) and Frank Evans. Teresa grew up in Guadalupe County and will be remembered as a 1965 graduate of Navarro High School. She began working at the Guadalupe County Tax Office as a deputy clerk, and then moved to the Guadalupe County Appraisal District where she worked in data processing, mapping, and abstracting. She later retired from Wuest Incorporated where she served as office manager which included human resource responsibilities. She enjoyed reading, and gambling trips and was an avid online scrabble player. Her most cherished times were with her family and close friends, especially sleepovers with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Teresa is preceded in death by her loving husbands, Nelson R. Schneider and James Randy Kramer, her parents, and her step-father Jerome Henze. Survivors include her son, Brett Schneider, and wife Caroline; daughters, Dawn Vincent and husband Shawn, Donna Davis, and husband Alan, and Glenda Wall and husband Rob; grandchildren, Taylor Young and husband Jordan, Chase Vincent and girlfriend Emma Catron, Grayson Schneider, Rob Davis, Kristen Schroeder and husband Harrison, Alyssa Wall, Anthony Wall and wife Jillian, and Austin Wall; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Landry, and Kymber Young, Emersyn and Adalee Bullard, and Cooper and Hudson Wall; numerous other loving family members and friends. Randy Wayne Jones, age 74, of Seguin, Texas passed away on November 30, 2023. Randy was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on July 30, 1949. Randy was a successful businessman, a loyal friend, and an avid outdoorsman with a larger-than-life personality. He always had a new joke to share. He recently discovered Facebook and enjoyed finding and experimenting with new recipes, usually desserts, and sharing them with family. He always arrived early to any party and jokingly chided the rest of us for showing up late. Randy's heart was huge. He always thought of others and how he could bless them or alleviate their burden. He often could be found with his buddies at Whataburger, laughing and trading jokes. He is preceded in death by the love of his life Deborah Jones, son Chris Jones, parents Gil and Dorothy Lovell, brother Larry Jones, and sister Teresa Spencer. He is survived by his nephew, Bradly Lovell and family; niece, Kasey Jones Cody and family; sisters-in-law, Julie Hunter and Kathy Caraway, brothers-in-law, Gerald Spear and Kenneth Spear; nephews, James Hunter, Robert Hunter, Richard Gavigan, Matthew Gavigan, Chris Gavigan; nieces, Victoria Kleen and Deborah Hunter and their families; numerous great nephews, nieces, friends and other loving family members. Estella Jaimes Puebla, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on November 26, 2023, in Seguin, Texas. She was born on January 13, 1953, in Tejupilco in the state of Mexico. Estella's life was one filled with love, compassion, and cherished moments shared with those she held dear. Estella is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Jaimes and Carmen Jaimes Puebla, as well as her sister Esmeralda Jaimes. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Zacarias Jaimes Navarro. Their marriage was a true testament to love and commitment that served as an inspiration to all who knew them. Estella's impact on her family extended beyond her husband as she leaves behind three loving sons, Cesar Jaimes (Geneva Guerra), Beto Jaimes (Rachel Brown), and Jesus Jaimes. Estella's grandchildren were the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She is survived by Benjamin Jaimes, Seth May, Anthony Guerra, Chris Guerra, Kimberly Guerra, Draven Brown, and Drake Brown. Her legacy of love and devotion will forever be carried forward through the lives of these cherished grandchildren. Estella moved to Bandera, Texas at the age of 19 and after the birth of her eldest son moved to Seguin. She worked and raised two more boys in Seguin and she retired from Tyson foods after 15 years of employment. Her love of life was revealed after surviving 2 bouts of breast cancer. Her laugh was infectious. Everyone who met her was always made to feel at home and loved. She was a matriarchal figure to so many. "Momma/Welita" will be remembered for bringing joy, happiness and kind words of wisdom. Her absence has left a void that can never be filled in the hearts of those who loved her dearly. However, her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. She will forever be remembered for her selflessness, warmth, and the love she showered upon all those fortunate enough to have known her. Estella's family and friends will gather to remember her and honor her life at Palmer Mortuary & Cremations in Seguin. The visitation will take place on December 5, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. On December 6, 2023, another visitation will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. This will be followed by a Mass celebrating Estella's life at the church from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Estella will be laid to rest in Jardines de Oriente located in Estado de Mexico. She is preceded in Death by her Husband, Charles Roundtree , Parents , Artha Coleman & Lillie Mae Sheffield and Brother Jessie Coleman ( Connie Faye ). She is survived by all five daughters , grandchildren & great grandchildren. Children- Dorothy(Abel) Perez, Charlesetta (Mark) Kindrick, Marilyn Roundtree, Lillie Roundtree and Pamela Roundtree. Grandchildren- Charles Perez, Gabriel (Ashley) Roundtree, Amarya Dixion, and Staisha Kindrick . Great Grandchildren- Sean & Cordero Perez , Braylen Roundtree, Ashlyn Jordan, Saiyr Brown , & Drieam Henson . Along with her only Nephew ; Mark( Maria) Grant and a host of many family , friends , & church members . Estella was born on October 10, 1941 in Seguin, Texas to Artha Coleman and Lillie Mae Sheffield. She loved sports , her Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. She graduated from Ball High and married Charles Robert Roundtree on October 20, 1960. Estella remained in Seguin for the entirety of her life ; during that time her and Charles had 5 girls and devoted herself to being a mother to her daughters and any child that came into her home , she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She also taught Apartment Ministry and outreach with her daughter Charlesetta at Fairview Projects and Braden Street Projects from 1986 to 2013 for 26 years. Estella was also a deaconess at Zion Hill & Christian Fellowship , and an employee at Tyson Foods until she retired . Her family will always remember Estella as the Best Mother/Grandmother, kind , patient , hard working , honest , and most of all a Woman of God who always showed integrity with her Honesty, wisdom with her instruction & criticism. Love with her patience , cooking , devotion, & smile. She always made sure that her family knew " our help comes from the Lord " no matter what you do or where life takes you , serve the Lord . She loved her family and she especially loved when everyone got together but she hated when we argued or fought . She didn't stand for division and showed us there is always a way to work it out without fighting . Estella loved attending church . She started at Zion Hill , then Christian Fellowship Baptist Church , and finished her race at Greater Second Baptist Church . She didn't care what was going on she made sure she made it to church . On November 23, 2023 at 12 am Estella finished the race and gained her Eternal Reward . To be absent from the physical body is to be present with the Lord and there's no Greater place to be . MSG Ronald Frank "Ronnie" Ruby, USA (Ret. ), age 74 of Seguin, passed away on November 21, 2023. Ronnie was born on October 6, 1949, in Eagle Lake, Texas to Alice Belle Clapp Mckee and Frank Ruby. Ronnie was a member of the 1968 graduating class of Seguin High School. He proudly served his country by joining the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and after 8 years of service he transferred to the United States Army where he retired as a Master Sergeant. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking, building items, cooking, casino trips, and playing golf. Ron is preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, J. L. McKee. Margarita "Margie" H. Colville, age 62 of Seguin, passed away on November 17, 2023. Margie was born on April 21, 1961, in Laredo, Texas, to Vicente (Farias) and Rafael Hernandez. Margie spent her childhood and early adulthood in San Antonio, graduating from San Antonio College with a dental assisting degree. There she met her husband, Clark, and they decided to make Seguin their home in 1993. Margie became a beloved member of the community, including Navarro ISD, Guadalupe County Aggie Mom's Club, Meals on Wheels, and the Guadalupe County election office. Her favorite passions were Zumba with her friends at GRMC and supporting her kids' college alma maters across the state. Margie is preceded in death by her parents. Margie is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Dr. Clark Colville; daughters, Carly Colville and Chloe Colville; son, Camden Colville and wife Kayla Colville; sister, Janie Cardona; brother, Michael Benites; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kathleen and Gene Colville; brothers-in-law, Glenn C.
