Corydon, IndianaPaula Louise Rainbolt, 80, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, IN. She was born May 25, 1943, in Corydon, IN the daughter of Jesse Jacob and Louise Owen Peckenpaugh Timberlake. She was a statistic clerk at the Census Bureau, was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Gregory Allen Rainbolt and Eric Lydell Rainbolt; brothers Frank Timberlake and Jesse "Pete" Timberlake; sisters, Judy Harbaugh, Janet Timberlake and Shirley Timberlake. She is survived by her husband, R. Darryl Rainbolt; daughter; Janell Frank (Russell); sister, Garnell Melton all of Corydon, IN; grandchildren, Courtney Louise Wiseman, Olivia Jean Wiseman and Cody Frank; great grandchildren, Jaydon Nicholas Filkins, Jaxton Lee Eason and Amanda Grace Frank and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at 1 PM Friday, September 22, 2023, at Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Michael Elliott will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 AM until the service at 1 PM also at the church. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to Susan G. Komen For the Cure. All arrangements are being cared for by Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN.

Steven Douglas Nealy, 64, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd. He was born November 12, 1959, the son of Aaron and Marilyn Thompson Nealy. Steve proudly owned and built his wallpapering business from the ground up, teaching his son the trade was one of Steves happiest moments knowing he was providing for his family with "Steve Nealy and Son Wall Covering LLC. " Steves life was centered around hard work and providing for his family. But he finally gave in and would go on many memory filled vacations. Steve could often be found in his shed "piddling around" as he called it with his tools or working on various projects. Steve loved rock n roll music. He was always on the hunt for the newest and best groups, a love he shared with his grandson, Gunner, which was his buddy and true light and joy in his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Justin N. Nealy, one brother, Michael Nealy, and one sister, Carolyn Jones. Steve married the love of his life and twin flame and they happily shared a life together for over 30 years, Tonya Shipley Perry- Nealy, one son, Jeremiah Nealy (Melissa) of New Albany, IN, two stepsons: Benjamin Perry of Columbus, IN and Isaiah Perry of Georgetown, IN, one stepdaughter, Andreah Fear of North Vernon, IN, five grandchildren: Gunner Nealy, Devin, Ciara, and Ashlan Fear, and Kylie Perry, three great grandchildren, two brothers: Aaron Nealy (Rose) of Depauw, IN and David Nealy of Depauw, IN, a niece Emily and nephew Matthew along with a host of blended and extended family and friends. Funeral service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home of Georgetown (7420 Hwy 64, Georgetown, IN 47122)Visitation will be from 1 PM until 7 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, and again, Wednesday morning from 9 AM until the service time at the funeral home.Show more

Terry Lynn Myers, age 77, passed away on November 2, 2023. Terry was born on August 28, 1946, in the earliest wave of the Baby Boom. Terry's parents Malcolm Abram Myers and Thelma (Roby) Myers were from New Albany, Indiana. Terry was born and grew up in New Albany alongside his dear cousin, Tom Hobson (Cheryl Hobson), who he considered a brother. Terry attended Silver Street Grade School and lived on Reno Ave in New Albany until his parents moved to Lakeview Dr in Clarksville, Indiana. Terry graduated from Clarksville High School in 1965. He initially attended the University of Louisville pursuing a degree in Psychology before joining the Air National Guard of Louisville where he served in Air Intelligence. After leaving the Guard, he worked at the ammunition plant in Charlestown, Indiana and then enrolled at Northwood Institute in West Baden Springs. He graduated with honors in Computer Science and Business. He worked for Metradata Computing for seven years and then became a partner with Shultzstead, Myers, and Associates for five years. He joined Coopers and Lybrand as a Manager in the early 1980s. Terry started his own business, YPRO Corporation, in 1983 from which he retired after more than 30 years. He married Judy McLear on May 9, 1987, and was a loving father to Sarah Helen (Philip Johnson) and Matthew Terry. The Myers initially lived in Borden, Indiana then moved to Ocala, Florida. The Myers purchased Silver Rapids Lodge in Ely, MN in 1992. They were lodge owners for 10 years and lived in Ely until July 2005, then moved to Corydon, Indiana. In their retirement, Judy and Terry returned to Ely where they enjoyed a number of northern MN summers together. Terry was an avid sportsman and could be found duck hunting or fishing. He loved his guns and was a great fix-it man. Terry was always willing to help whoever needed it, and had a big heart. He played a mean game of Gin Rummy and Pinochle. Terry saw adventure in everything, he never feared the unknown, and was always looking to what was around the next bend. More than anything, Terry lived for those he loved. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, Indiana. Visitation will be held, Thursday, November 9, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to one of the following charity's in Terry's name: Ducks Unlimited, Alzheimer's Association, Amedisys Hospice, or St. Joseph Catholic School.Show more
