Patty L. Benson went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday April 12, 2019. Patty is survived by her loving daughters, Misti Mastagni and Mandi Cornell; sisters, Diane Williams and Della Garwood; brother, Cougar, and sister-in-love Kandi Mount; brothers-in-love, Tyler and Stephen Grider; as well as several nieces and nephews. She also had two grandsons, Noah and Caleb Cornell. Patty was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, aunt, mamaw, and friend to everyone. Patty was born in Spokane, Washington on September 5, 1951. She grew up there and graduated from Riverside High School. She then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as a WAF for a short time when she met the love of her life, Kenn Benson. They were married December 12, 1970 and together they raised their two daughters while traveling to several duty stations including Germany, Philippines and England, throughout his entire Air Force career. She worked for AAFES until the early 2000's then retired and took care of her husband and her six fur babies. She loved her family fiercely and the little things in life like nature, flowers, and the thrill of a triple 7! She will truly be missed and will always be OUR SUNSHINE. A Memorial Service will be held at Moore Funeral and Cremation, 400 SE 19th Street, Moore, OK on Saturday, April 27th at 10:30 A.M. with Chaplain Kandi Mount officiating.
