As the day draws closer to the end than when it began, the Horton's Funeral Home and Cremations Family joins with loving arms wrapped around the relatives of Ms. Pattie Jones as we embark on the "Last Mile" on this side of the Jordan with her. Ms. Jones got her ticket and stepped on that Morning Train Wednesday, April 19, 2023. The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order. Beginning on Thursday, April 27, 2023 between the hours of 5pm-7pm at Horton's Funeral Home and Cremation, Ms. Jones will lie in state for a final glimpse for family and friends. The Celebration of Life Service will commence on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1pm at Horton's Funeral Home and Cremations with Dr. Kera Johnson, Eulogist. Immediately following the order of service, an intimate Committal Service will come forth in the Cedarwood Cemetery. It is in this place that her physical temple will remain until time is called into eternity and those who are sleep in Christ will rise first to meet Him in the air. As hard as it will be for Pattie's loved ones to depart without her, God our Heavenly Father promised to give peace that will surpass all of our understanding even in the midst of grief and sorrow.
