Patti Eberhardt Obituary

Patti Ann Eberhardt, 76, of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away peacefully at her home on May 1st, 2023. She was the daughter of the late John and Lucille Powell. She was born in Bremerton, Washington on March 19th, 1947 and graduated from East High School in Bremerton and attended Olympic College. She was married to Lieutenant Commander (Retired) Michael Eberhardt for 43 years when he passed away. Patti accompanied Mike around the world. They lived in Seattle, San Francisco, Wake Island, Honolulu, Guantanamo Bay, and Virginia Beach. She was a dedicated mother, volunteering as a band parent, den mother, soccer coach, chaperone, and in many other capacities. She worked as an administrative assistant at Plaza Middle School, Hermitage Elementary School, and Plaza Elementary School. After her retirement from the Virginia Beach Public School system, she was actively involved as a volunteer with Foundry United Methodist Church, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, and the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts. She is survived by her sons; Bryan Eberhardt and his wife Sung, Patrick Eberhardt and his wife Alexis; four Grandchildren, Reyna, Justin, Jack, and Keaton; and two sisters, Nancy and Cynthia. The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 13th at Foundry United Methodist Church 2801 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA 23452.
