Patsy Foster Obituary

Patsy June Foster, 81, of Blanchard, died Saturday, September 9, 2023, in Oklahoma City. The daughter of Albert Adaine Chapman and Dorothy June (Dugger) Chapman, she was born August 23, 1942, in Blanchard, Oklahoma. Patsy married Ray Gene "Doc" Foster on September 2, 1960, in Chickasha. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blanchard. Patsy worked as a customer service representative for Pioneer until her retirement. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, sewing, and watching Dallas Cowboys football. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved attending all of her grandkids' sporting events. She was a devoted mother and a loving grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, C. W. Chapman; and her husband of nearly 57 years, Ray Gene "Doc" Foster. Patsy is survived by her three sons, David Foster and his wife, Deborah, Darin Foster and his wife, Tammy, and Dwain Foster and his wife, Traci, all of Blanchard; seven grandchildren, Wacey Foster of Blanchard, Colin Foster and wife, Brittany, of Blanchard, Tanner Foster and wife, Kayla, of Norman, Hunter Foster of Norman, Carson Foster of Blanchard, Hope Hughes and husband, Ashton, of Blanchard, and Haylee Mason and fiance, Trevor Lester, of Blanchard; eight great grandchildren, Austin, Hayden, Daxton, Wrenlee, Stetson, Jedd, Oaklynn, and Lake; one sister, Kay Foster and husband, Shorty, of Blanchard; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Blanchard. Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
