In loving memory of Patrick Lessard March 17, 1986 - December 7, 2022 The Funeral Mass for Patou will be held this Friday September 15th, 2023 at 11 am at the Immaculee-Conception Church in Val Gagne, with the interment following at the cemetery. A Reception will follow in the Val Gagne Community Hall. Patou passed away at the age of 36 at the Timmins & District Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday December 7th, 2022. Our warrior fought against Cystic Fibrosis and a cure was not to be found for him. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his mother Celine Gadoury, father Claude Lessard, his fiance Helene Bourgeois, siblings Sylvie (Paul) Vincent, Alain Lessard and Roxanne Lessard (Patrick Jacques), his nieces and nephews Cody (Lindsay), Braiden, Keana, godson late Keisten, goddaughter Koralie, goddaughter Hannah and 1 great nephew Bailor. Patou also leaves behind many friends aunts, uncles on the Lessard and Gadoury side and the Bourgeois Family. In loving memory of Mr. Dale Levely November 21, 1953 - November 27, 2023 Dale passed away at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson on Monday November 27th, 2023 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by his father Ronald Levely and his mother Evelyn Prince (nee Jackson). He was the brother of the late Debbie (late Claude) Nichols, Darwin (late Blanche) Levely and Kerry (Liisa) Levely, half brother of Stacey (Mairi) Levely, uncle of Cindy Levely and great uncle of Micheal and Hallie. He also left behind many other relatives and friends. Born in Kirkland Lake Dale worked over 30 years from 1995 for the Ontario Northland Railway as a Track Maintainer throughout Northeastern Ontario until his retirement Dale was based in Hearst for the last leg of his career. His last few years were spent living in Matheson with his brother Darwin. Cremation will take place and his remains will be laid to rest later in the spring with his parents at the Greenhill Cemetery in Matheson. In loving memory of Patricia Ann MacQueen (nee White) November 3, 1957 - November 25, 2023 With heavy hearts the family of Patricia announces her sudden passing on Saturday November 25th, 2023 at the age of 66 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Matheson. She was the daughter of Edith (late Jim) Wilkens and late Ross White. She was the mother of Melanie MacQueen (Rod Gagne) and Michael MacQueen (Christina Dodge), grandmother of Griffin MacQueen, Blake MacQueen, Jenna Fish, Rachel MacQueen and Holly Fish, sister of late John Eldon (Jackie) White, Cliff (Cynthia) White, Dennis (Cindy) White and Maryellen (Sam) Wood. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and many Dear friends from Matheson. Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the Bingham Memorial Hospital for all the caring care provided to Patricia. He was predeceased by his father Melvin Brown, mother Jean Brown (nee Robillard), his wife Margaret Brown (nee Mitchell). In Loving Memory of Mr. Arnold John Draves April 17, 1938 - November 20, 2023 Arnold, who went by AJ, was born and raised in Holtyre. AJ was fond of the outdoors, spending much of his youth and life at his favorite property on Watabeag Lake, affectionately known as Hook n' Line, where he has spent every summer since 1945. He played many sports growing up and was fond of hockey, baseball and curling. AJ spoke often of his upbringing in Holtyre and his good old days. AJ was privileged to marry his loving wife, Dorothy Lindsay, in 1960. He established his family of five children in Matheson and remained a long-term resident. AJ supported his growing family by working as an electrician in many mines over the years across Northern Ontario. He retired from his final career after eleven years at the Monteith Correctional Complex. AJ met many people from many places in his years of work, traveling for his kids sports and following his many grandkids through their progressions of life. He was sociable and loved spending his retirement having coffee, chatting with the locals and people passing through. His family will cherish the valuable memories shared throughout the years. It's with great sadness the Draves family announces the passing of their father Arnold at the Timmins & District Hospital on Monday November 20th, 2023, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy Draves (nee Lindsay), his father John C. Draves and his mother Nettie Draves (nee Andrew). In loving memory of Mr. Dale Ross Leavens June 19, 1950 - November 2, 2023 With heavy hearts his family announces his sudden passing at his residence in Cochrane on Thursday November 2, 2023, at the age of 73. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Janet Leavens (nee King) of 52 years, his children Chrystal Leavens (Brad Shuttleworth) of Lindsay, ON, Angela Leavens (Michael Berscheid) of Calgary, AB and Michael Leavens (Tricia Leavens) of London, ON. Dale was the proud grandfather of Andrew, Charles, and Oliver. He was the brother of Reva and Doug Leavens. Dale is predeceased by his parents Maxwell and Violet (nee Kilby) Leavens. Dale lived in Cochrane from 1973-79 as he was starting his career as a physiotherapist at Lady Minto Hospital. Interested in contributing to this small town, he ran for Mayor, and was a Board member that participated in establishing the Group Homes in Cochrane. The family left Cochrane to pursue other opportunities but returned in 1989. In his personal life, Dale was an avid woodworker, gardener, Blue Jays fan, and enjoyed attending a local Book Club. Dale had a sharp wit and great sense of humour. He kept active through daily walks around Lake Commando with Janet, and would stop to swim in the heat of the summer. Dale was a fervent concert goer. If you were ever at a live music performance with Janet and Dale they would have been the first couple on the dance floor and quite likely the last to leave it.
