Patricia Strubberg Obituary

Patricia A. Strubberg, 73, of Washington, passed away on April 20, 2023. Pat, daughter of the late Thomas Bowen and Norma nee Mentz, was born on February 2, 1950, in Leslie. She received her education from Washington High School. On June 14, 1969, she was united in marriage to Robert Strubberg Sr. at St. Francis Borgia Church. Pat enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was affectionately referred to as Saint Patty for her thoughtfulness in everything she did. She also loved Christmas and started shopping in January to be sure she had just the perfect gifts for those on her list. Mrs. Strubberg was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Strubberg Sr. ; son, Robert Strubberg Jr. ; sister, Lisa Bowen and three brother-in-laws, Gary Abdullah, Al Schneider, and Mark King. Among her survivors are her daughter, Megen Strubberg of Washington; eight siblings, Mary Kay Bowen of Omaha, NE, Thomas Bowen and wife Jackie of Prosper, TX, Linda Abdullah of Washington, Juddi Schneider of Washington, Mike Bowen of Union, David Bowen of St. Charles, Nancy Bowen of Union, and Barb King of Washington; two grandchildren, Olivia and Adrianna Strubberg; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Strubberg of Washington; in-laws, Linda Sullentrup and husband Earl of Washington and Danny Strubberg and wife Carol of Washington; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 2-6 p. m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Miller Funeral Home, with a funeral service beginning at 6 p. m. Interment will be on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the St. Francis Borgia Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital or ECC Scholarship Foundation.
