Linda was born October 27, 1942, from her home and in the presence of her daughters went to be with Jesus on November 14, 2023. She accepted Christ into her heart at a very young age and faithfully served him all her life. She was deeply committed, long time member of the Chariton Church of the Nazarene, where she devoted her time and energy to wedding planning, teaching Bible studies, leading global missions, women's ministries, directing cantatas, and playing piano. Linda was an accomplished pianist and loved serving the Lord with her gift and talent by playing the hymns of the church. If you were to ask Linda, her greatest legacy is her beloved four daughters Jody, Janice, Jayne and Jinger. To know Linda was to know Christmas was her favorite holiday. She loved rotating from each of her daughter's family Christmas Celebrations and kept the season alive by listening to its music year around. Linda loved going camping with her close friends and the highlight of the camping season was when they traveled to Branson, MO, where they meet up and spend time with her sister Becky and husband Bob. Linda counted her life as blessed beyond measure in being "Granny" to 13 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren, and "Aunt Linda" to one niece and nephew. She will be greatly missed but memory and legacy of faith will live on for generations to come. He was an inquisitive child who due to hearing problems that started when he was very young missed out on a lot of things others absorbed normally. The family grew with the births of 8 grandchildren, Evan, Sydney, Elizabeth, Savannah, Christopher, Joshua, Vincent and Maxwell.
