Doobie (Wallace Paul Jr) Foltz passed peacefully in his sleep in his home, boarding the train to Zion, on February 11, 2024. He is survived by his son Phillip Charles Foltz and his girlfriend Taylor Richardson. His loving mother Sherry Walters and her fiance Tom Shirley as well as his father Wallace Paul Foltz Sr and step-mother Elizabeth Foltz. Sisters Angela Foltz, Kimberly Smith and Melissa Bicudo, four young nephews Ethan, Jacob, Thiago and Matteo and his grand-daughter Irena. His partner and best friend Carla C Jones. As well as many loving Aunts, Uncle's, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Shannon Lewis-Foltz and infant son Thomas Michael Foltz, maternal grandparents Odelle (Punch) Walters and George Walters, paternal grandparents Edgar Foltz and Margaret Miller as well as several cousins and dear friends. Doobie was born April 12, 1974 and was a 1992 graduate of Martinsburg High School. He was a long-time resident of Martinsburg, there wasn't a person he didn't know or who didn't know him. He had many hobbies but he was a collector of comic books, baseball cards and most importantly his Bob Marley memorabilia. If you knew Doobie, you knew of his love for Bob Marley. Doobie's light shined bright, he lit up a room with his boyish crooked grin and snicker when he laughed. He had a heart of gold, he was loved by many and he will be missed by many. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Frederick “Fred” James Keilholtz passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side after a lengthy illness in Martinsburg, WV. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Dianne, his sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Jeffrey Meckley, his son Jason and wife Deb, Joseph and wife Katie, Stephen and wife Tiffany and his daughter, Stacy Swann and husband Paul Kraske; along with six granddaughters Josie Bobo, husband Evan, Jasmine Keilholtz, Shy Keilholtz and partner Kaleb Maphis, Piper Kraske, Cleo Kraske, and Marielle Mercado, as well as his beloved service dog, River. He was also blessed with two great grandsons, Hudson Maphis and Bennett Bobo. He is preceded in death by his brother Jon Kuntz. Fred was born in Elizabethtown, PA on June 5, 1951, to Jon Kuntz and Adah Leicht Kuntz. He moved to Emmitsburg in February 1962 when his mother remarried Merle Keilholtz who later adopted Fred. He graduated from Catoctin High School in 1970 and went to the local community college. Fred served our country in the National Guard, Army, and Air Force. He was a proud veteran. He was a dedicated employee of Worthington Pump in Taneytown for 28 years. Fred was a man of many talents including writing, wood carving, and especially painting, a passion he pursued from an early age until his death. He was always quite attuned to the world around him, and always seemed to know what wasn’t being said and how other people felt, and he often brought his keen observations to his paintings. He was always tinkering and could fix anything that needed fixing. He loved the outdoors, the mountains, and the water, including boating and fishing. After retiring, he and Dianne spent much of their time in Florida, which was a great joy for him. He was a man with a strong faith and a deep love for his family and loved mentoring many of them. During his retirement he served the church by being a Eucharistic Minister both at St. John’s in Frederick, MD and St. Peter and Paul in Bradenton, FL. Fred’s presence and great sense of humor will be truly missed by all that knew him. There will be a viewing at Brown’s Funeral Home at 327 King St, Martinsburg, WV from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 22, 2024. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am on February 23, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Queen St. Martinsburg, WV. Michael Shawn Scott, 48, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 14, 2024. Michael was born January 1, 1976 in New Jersey where he spent most of his younger years. He is the son of Michael and Sherry Scott. Michael and his family relocated to West Virginia in 1990. Michael loved spending time with family and friends, camping, and snowboarding. Michael is proceded in death by his father Michael Scott and his grandmother Gloria (Tomes) Wishon. Michael is survived by his grandfather Albert Tomes, mother Sherry Scott, Stepfather Harry Ditsche, his siblings Tina, Desiree, Andrew, and Cassandra Scott. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins including the Jack Family and his sister from another mister Kelly Daniels. Michael’s faith carried him through the many struggles’ life brought him. He will forever be missed and in our hearts. Mona Jean Marie (Riggs) DeHaven, 93, of Hedgesville, was called to her Heavenly home on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Countryside Assisted Living, Martinsburg, WV Born April 8, 1930 in Berkeley County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Donald William Riggs and Geraldine Marie (Hedges) Riggs. Mona Jean grew up on the family farm in Back Creek Valley. She was a Christian and lifelong member of Tomahawk Christian Church. There, she served as a Sunday School teacher and helped with Vacation Bible School. In addition to being a full-time homemaker, Mona Jean also worked several years as a seasonal worker at National Fruit, and supported her family’s Christmas Tree Farm, Allen DeHaven’s Trees. Preceded in death in 2009 by her husband of 60 years, Allen J. DeHaven. Mona Jean was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Donald Shirley Riggs, and Larry Dale Riggs; and a son-in-law Paul Napier. She is survived by her four children, Peggy and husband Dale Lewis, Darla Napier, Karen and husband Glen Collis, and Donnie DeHaven and wife Cheri. Mona Jean is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Tammy Potter and husband John, Christi Haverfield and husband Mark, Jeannie Shipp and husband Mark, James Napier and wife Kelly, Susan Cookus and husband Matt, Adam Collis and wife Anna Marie, Amanda Puffenburger and husband Christopher, Christopher DeHaven and wife Staci, Travis DeHaven and wife Christina, Brittany DeHaven and fiancé Robbie Heagy, and Courtney DeHaven. Additionally, 21 great grandchildren, Jordan and Cady Potter, Lydia and Vivian Haverfield, Annabel Shipp, Stuart, Donivan and Scarlet Collis, Aubrey Bowers, Westley and Theo DeHaven, Levi and Owen DeHaven, Aria and Kennedy Heagy, Nicole and Joshua Napier, Alexis and Bryce Cookus, Kearah and Alaya Puffenburger. Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with funeral services to follow at 11AM at Tomahawk Christian Church, 12896 Back Creek Valley Rd., Hedgesville, WV 25427 In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations to Tomahawk Christian Church, Hospice of the Panhandle or Martinsburg Rescue Mission. Delores married her beloved husband, Michael Magruder Sr. and together they had 5 children. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Magruder Sr (Tony), and her five children, David Allison, Michael Magruder Jr., Tanya Warring, Teresa Magruder, and godson Larry Johnson; her grandchildren, Joshua Allison, Nikki Allison, Whitnee Kirk, Ryan Allison, Dillon Silver, Travis Fleming, Elias Fleming, Roy Fleming Jr, Kayla Germain, Devon Fleming, Destiny Sweeney, Paloma Magruder, Brendan Snapp, Robert McManus, Jordan McManus, Alexa Clarke, Anthony Fleming; and godchildren, Narissa and Paxton. She has one grandson, William Kirk waiting at heaven’s gates for her. She is also survived by 24 Great-grandchildren and 3 more on the way. Lo-Lo loved to plant flowers, and decorate her flowerbeds with her gnomes, she really loved to go on cruises with her kids and she loved to gamble. She was always ready to have family cookouts, turn the music up, and dance the night away. Most of all she loved helping others, she always had an open-door open heart, fresh hot coffee, and was ready to listen and guide her family and friends. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for her loved ones, especially her kids and husband. The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with Prayers at 7:00 pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home \u0026amp; Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home. Born May 15, 1954, in Washington DC, he was the son of the late Norman Belt and Jean (Ward) Belt. Stephen was an US Army Veteran. He was an 82nd Air Borne Army-Crane operator, and a welder by trade. Stephen enjoyed spending his free time riding his Harley Davidson. Stephen is survived by his former wife, Kathleen Belt, children, Stephen Belt, Patrick Belt, stepdaughter, Hailey Crow, grandchildren, Julius Belt Frederick, Ellianna Belt Frederick, Raiden Weishaar, Lillian Crow, Jade Crow, and Sawyer Crow.
