Patricia Ann Horton, 81, of Harrisburg, IL died Monday September 11, 2023 at 10:46 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday September 15, 2023 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday after 11 am until service time. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. She was born on October 2, 1941 in Cook County, IL to the late Lester & Marjorie (Curry) Humbracht. She married Earl Eugene Horton on November 15, 1963 and he preceded in death on August 5, 2008. She loved being around her family, and enjoyed her dogs; Bingo and Jitter. She also enjoyed watching game shows and playing Bingo. She is survived by her 4 Sons: Clark (Patty) Horton of Harrisburg, IL; Johnny (Rhonda) Horton of Harrisburg, IL; Jackie (Jennifer) Horton of Mt. Carmel, IL and Rodney (Sherry) Horton of Harrisburg, IL; Brother: Butch Humbracht of St. Charles, IL; 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great Granchildren. She was preceded in death by her parent; Husband: Earl Eugene Horton and 2 Sisters: Virginia Smale and Bonnie Humbracht. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. Linda I. Stucker, 80, of Harrisburg, IL passed November 7, 2023 peacefully in her sleep. Her wishes were to be cremated. A small service will be held at the graveside. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. She was born on August 14, 1943 in Norris City, IL to the late William and Flora (Garrett) May. She was a homemaker at one time. Over the years she also worked at Harrisburg Manor, Turner Manor and Granny's Kitchen. She loved a good bbq sandwich from BBQ Barn or fish on Fridays from Dads BBQ. Her pastime was usually smoking her cigarettes and watching horror movies, the gorier the better she always said. She is survived by 2 sons Mike Basham of Harrisburg, IL and Robert Basham (wife) Misty of Harrisburg, IL. She also leaves behind a niece and nephew who thought of her as a second mother niece Della Slivinski (husband) Sly of Harrisburg, IL and nephew Bill Cantrell who stayed with her often and made her meals. Last but not least her favorite grandchild Michael Joe Basham Jr and his companion Beth who took care of all her needs the last several years of her life. She has two surviving siblings a brother Rolla Bryant and sister Bonnie (May) Alexander. The last 2 siblings remaining out of 13 brothers and sisters. Harry G. Rayfield, 82, of Swansea, Illinois, formerly of Cahokia, Illinois, born January 28, 1941 in Harrisburg, Illinois, died Monday, October 9, 2023 at DeGreff Hospice House in St. Louis, Missouri. Harry was retired from Monsanto W. G. Krummrich Plant in Sauget, IL. He was a member of the first graduating class of Cahokia Senior High School, where he was a standout football, baseball, and basketball star. He was an avid golfer and played in a couple of semi-pro tournaments. He also enjoyed bowling with his father. Harry and his brother were proud coaches of the Rebels softball team for many years winning state titles and making lasting memories. He had previously served on the Cahokia School District Board and was the board president for several years. He was also involved in local politics in Cahokia and St. Clair County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheri; nee Hedricks, Rayfield; a daughter, Jennifer Rebecca Rayfield; parents, Harry Dale and Evdokia, nee Gray, Rayfield; and two sisters, Claudia Marie Rayfield and Christina L. Gianformaggio; Surviving are his children, Dawn (Scott Valentine) Lawrence of Belleville, IL, Harry W. "Billy" Rayfield of Swansea, IL, and Amy (Ken) Kimball of Smithton, IL; a sister, Mary (Gary) Rohr of Millstadt, IL; a brother, Peter L. (Debbie D. ) Rayfield of Waterloo, IL; three grandchildren, Tyler (Katt), Heather, and Noah (Amanda); and a great granddaughter, Salem. He was also a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend. Helen Fuchs, 95, of Harrisburg, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg. She was born in a log cabin in the Bowlesville Township in Gallatin County on December 14, 1927. Helen was one of eleven children born to the late Herman and Lela (Thompson) Stacey. She married Alfred Fuchs on May 12, 1970 and sadly Alfred preceded Helen in death on February 25, 2016. Helen was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eldorado. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen and George Cosby of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two sons, James and Carla Price of Magnolia, Texas, Kenneth and Pam Price of Equality; one sister, Emma Smith of Shawneetown; four brothers, Jerry Joe and Judy Stacey of Carrier Mills, James Stacey of Lincoln, Paul Stacey of Shawneetown, Donald and Gloria Stacey of Simpson; daughter-in-law, Sandy Price of Junction. Helen is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Russell Price; her grandson, Casey Cosby; four sisters, Mildred Cremeens, Neva Ruth Thompson, Wilma K. Stacey, Wanda Burpo; one brother, Bill Stacey. There will be a graveside service held on Saturday, September 16th at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown with Father Christian Iwuagwa officiating.
